Hi everyone!

My colleagues and I live in different regions. We have a chat on whatsapp in which all those who are part of my geographical area, Southern Italy, are present.
In this chat we mainly talk about work, but sometimes we wander also on other subjects, a little lighter.
A few days ago, for example, to give us a bit of mutual joy, we shared some images that portray the panoramas of our lands of origin.
It was a way to enjoy, at least with our eyes, some priceless beauties, since it is not yet possible to travel.

The result, as you can see, was truly appreciable, in a few minutes we found ourselves with a gallery of priceless natural beauty.

SICILY

Mondello

Let's start with this spectacular very famous and renowned beach.
The location is Mondello and, you won't believe it, it's a district of a big city, Palermo.

Would you ever have imagined finding such wonderfully clear water in a neighborhood of a city of over 600,000 inhabitants?

It seems to be in the Caribbean...

The place is also a cross of different cultures. In the background, in fact, we can see a building dating back to the period of Arab domination.
Moreover, the area is famous for its Liberty Style villas, exemplary expression of the Art Nouveau architecture in Italy.

CALABRIA

Palmi

We go up a bit, cross the Strait of Messina and here we are in Calabria, on the tip of the boot.

Calabria is a wild land rich in nature, you can find mountains, forests and beautiful coasts.

The region is bordered by two seas, the Ionian and the Tyrrhenian and has a total of 800 km of coasts.
The images you see here depict the sea of Palmi, a town in southern Calabria, whose territory is characterized by hilly terraces from which you can enjoy a wonderful view.
In fact, in addition to a truly intense blue Tyrrhenian Sea, you can see the tip of Sicily.

Reggio Calabria

The vision of Sicily is even clearer and defined by the promontory of Reggio Calabria, the capital and the most populous city in the region.
Also this city has a very particular morphology, since you can find both beaches, cliffs and the great mountains of Aspromonte.

In our image we see the sun reflecting in the water and creating a symbolic path that unites the two strips of land.

CAMPANIA

Bacoli

We move to Campania, the most famous of the southern Italy regions.
A land of beauty known and appreciated all over the world, especially for the presence of the city of Naples.
Here we are in Bacoli, a few tens of kilometers away from the Neapolitan city, but the theme doesn't change.
Clear sea and rural buildings overlooking the water...there really would be sitting on a rock and listening to the sound of the wind and waves.
If then, looking at the background, we are also in front of Vesuvius...well, then we are truly in a poetic scenario.

Acciaroli

We stay in Campania but we move to Cilento, in the province of Salerno.
Of this village, Acciaroli, I have already spoken in one of my previous posts, but I wanted once again to show you two wonderful images of sunsets in the place.
The first was taken from a friend's house, located on a hill not far from the sea.
The second was done directly on the beach.
Both show the fire of the sun going out in the sea water, creating an explosion of colors and sublime chromatic contrasts.
