So many don't know that actually, even me not too long ago. It's interesting though isn't it? When I was in Darwin we did a tour that delved into the event, took us to where the submarine net met the shore and was operated from plus so many more things including where buildings were strafed by fighter machine-gun fire and bullet holes still exist. One can even still judge the angle the bullet came from...High in the sky...It was very good and I highly suggest it if you are up that way.

I'm looking forward to doing a small series on it as I find it fascinating and feel it would be good to get the word out there, especially for interested folks like yourself.
