Lockdown laughs

in OCD4 years ago (edited)

I found this photo the other day...I'm not sure exactly when it was taken however my best guess is that it was in about 1990. Do you recognise anyone?

I took this at the Adelaide Formula One Grand Prix; As a huge fan of the sport I went every year and most years I took one of my brothers for a couple days of the four day event and on this occasion my youngest brother got the green light. That's right, that cheeky little bastard in the middle is none other than my brother @tarazkp. (He would have been 10 years old or so.)

We were walking across the paddock heading to our seats for some racing-action when these two promo-girls came by in their tight lycra/spandex suits. They sashayed along, hips swaying this way and that, smiling largely and generally drawing some attention as they passed which is their intended purpose of course. The F on their suits stands for Fosters, that great Aussie beer that no one I have ever known actually drinks because it tastes like camel piss. Anyway...

There we were, G-dog and T-dog just walking along minding our own business when along came these two ladies...Never one to miss an opportunity I asked the little fella if he would like a picture with them and never one to miss an opportunity the T-dog said yes.

I approached the girls, smile on my face, and proceeded to ask if it would be ok if we grabbed a photo. Naturally they said yes as that's what they were getting paid for...They went to stand beside me to pose and I stepped away...Oh no not me, the little-tacker, I said with a grin.

The girls flashed a couple grins, moved around to stand either side of the little rugrat and snap, the rest is history.

The little-chap wasn't shy and if you study the photo his hands are expertly placed to take advantage of curvaceous hips...My only surprise was that he didn't select the most ample bosom and lay his head upon it. (OK, he probably wouldn't have ever done that...But it would have made a better picture.)

After the deed was done, and if my memory serves me correctly, the young whippersnapper received a warm hug from each and they were on their way leaving a grin on his face, a slightly jealous older brother and this photographic gold!

I later had this photo enlarged and framed then handed it to the little munchkin. The photo you see here is a photo of the original photo so of poorer quality but I think it tells the story.

Faith and I have been going through piles of old photos over the last few weeks and this is one we came across. It's been a lot of fun and a great way to spend lockdown. It's amazing how a simple photo can bring memories flooding back.

This is one I can show you, with permission of the little tike himself, however we're coming across many much more interesting, and incriminating, ones that are giving us reason to laugh, cry, shake our heads in wonder, cringe and any number of other emotions. Good times. Good times.

I've never been the best photographer however all of these pieces of paper (pre-digital) are a colourful part of the tapestry of our lives; My life with Faith and our extended family too. They bring a lot of memories and enjoyment no matter their photographic quality; Life isn't a perfect photograph after all.

I have so many more I could share but out of respect to those in the photos, and the many compromising images, I'll not do so. I'm sure I'll roll out some more at some stage though, the more acceptable and non-embarrassing ones anyway.

Thanks for reading.

Ha, T Dawg getting all the laydee action!!

Yep, doesn't look like he enjoyed it much. Lol.

It will still be lingering in his mind. He is probably enjoying it much more now! :OD

Oh yeah, it's the inspiration for many enjoyments...

Nothings changed... oh no... everything has changed!

I didn't know that you guys are brothers. I talk to both of you at times, much more lately and the T Hound seems like he turned out to be a good guy Lol
Blessings!

We are...Born on the same day as it turns out, 9 years apart.

Wow! I hope the day is the 6th of April Lol. That will be one for the books.
What is the kp?

Nah, back in March. KP stands for keep private.😁

Good one Lol!
Sent you a DM!

You sent me a discord message? I don't see one.

I have this photo next to our wedding photo :D

Haha, a keeper for sure. Good to look back in time at how we were huh?

Yeah it is funny to see it as I remember it well, but it was almost 30 years ago

So long ago, but the memory brings it all back huh?

He was a scallywag...Hmm, I think he still is. Lol.

and this photographic gold!

Thirty years later and it's till not worth 41.07 cents.

And you people wonder why Steemit failed. Sure it's a feel good story but I guess you had to have been there to think it had 41.07 worth in it.
