Hello My Dear Little Witches...!
Today is Carnival Monday, and there are burgers for dinner, some delicious lentil burgers, which have become my new favorites, but they will not be the protagonists of today, my protagonists will be the pickle sauce and the cucumber shake that I have prepared to accompany the burgers. My brother hates cucumber, but loves pickles (I think something is not right with him) so you have to make a good amount of sauce so that everyone is comfortable.
In December I prepared a good jar of pickled vegetables, and in them were included a good amount of cucumber, which I always like to have for these occasions, because in my opinion a burger without pickles is never complete, just like without mustard, which if you want you can serve me only with these two things and I will be happy.
And since it is #fruitsandveggiesmonday, the drink that will accompany these delicious burgers has to be with fruits and vegetables, and what better than a delicious cucumber juice with lemon and ginger, the heat these days is horrible, and with this in addition to hydration we refresh ourselves and we are taking a delicious and healthy drink.
Preparing the gherkin sauce with sweet mustard is extremely easy, for this we will need 150 grams of gherkins cut into cubes, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, one tablespoon of sugar, one tablespoon of vinegar, and 3 tablespoons of mustard, stir everything to integrate and ready. It tastes delicious and for mustard lovers like me, you will want to put this sauce on everything.
On the other hand, making a good pitcher of cucumber juice, is much easier, just add in the blender a couple of cucumbers well washed and cubed, add the juice of 3 large lemons, sugar to taste and a piece of ginger, 3 cups of water and blend for about 5 minutes, pass our juice through a sieve and serve in a glass with ice. The fiber left in the sieve can be used as a mask for the hair, it is great to give it shine.
For my part, I am a cucumber fanatic, and this year I have decided to include it more in my daily diet, since its weight-loss properties are wonderful, and if I want to take off a few pounds of beauty from this body that God has given me, it will be a perfect ally.

Hola Mis Queridos Brujitos...!
Hoy es lunes de carnaval, y hay hamburguesas para la cena, unas deliciosas hamburguesas de lentejas, que se han convertido en mis nuevas favoritas, pero ellas no serán las protagonistas de hoy, mis protagonistas serán la salsa de pepinillos y el batido de pepino que he preparado para acompañar las hamburguesas. Mi hermano odia el pepino, pero ama los pepinillos (creo que algo no está bien con el) así que hay que hacer una buena cantidad de salsa para que todos queden a gusto.
En diciembre prepare un buen tarro de vegetales encurtidos, y en ellos estaban incluidos una buena cantidad de pepino, que siempre me gusta tener para estas ocasiones, pues a mi parecer una hamburguesa sin pepinillos nunca está completa, al igual que sin mostaza, que si quieren me pueden servir solo con estas dos cosas y yo seré feliz.
Y como es #fruitsandveggiesmonday, la bebida que acompañara estas deliciosas hamburguesas tiene que ser con frutas y vegetales, y que mejor que un delicioso jugo de pepino con limón y jengibre, el calor en estos días es horrible, y con esto además de hidratarnos nos refrescamos y estamos tomando una bebida deliciosa y saludable.
Preparar la salsa de pepinillos con mostaza dulce, es sumamente fácil, para ello necesitaremos 150 gramos de pepinillos cortados en cubitos, agregamos 1/2 cucharadita de sal, una cucharada de azúcar, una cucharada de vinagre, y 3 cucharadas de mostaza, revolvemos todo para integrar y listo. Su sabor es delicioso y para los amantes de la mostaza como yo, querrán ponerle esta salsa a todo.
Por otra parte, elaborar una buena jarra de jugo de pepino, es mucho más fácil, solo agregamos en la licuadora un par de pepinos bien lavados y picados en cubos, agregamos el jugo de 3 limones grandes, azúcar al gusto y un trocito de jengibre, 3 tazas de agua y licuamos por unos 5 minutos, pasamos nuestro jugo por un tamiz y servimos en un vaso con hielo. La fibra que nos queda en el tamiz la podemos utilizar como una mascarilla para el cabello, es genial para darle brillo.
Por mi parte yo soy fanática del pepino, además este año he decidido incluirlo más en mi dieta diaria, pues sus propiedades para bajar de peso son maravillosas, y si quiero quitarle algunos kilos de belleza a este cuerpo que Dios me ha dado, este será un aliado perfecto.

I do love some pickles myself! I like cucumber, but I am with your brother in that I like them even better pickled. ;) Though that cucumber juice with the ginger just sounds downright heavenly! We had lots of cucumbers from our garden last year, so I need to remember to make this if we get another good harvest this summer.
Pickles are something else, you have to try this juice, it's delicious, the ginger gives it a special touch!
