An ordinary example of garden macro with an artistic effect. These dragonflies are present in large numbers in the summer on a lawn near the summer home of parents. Sometimes I take a camera and set off to examine the lawn for models for macro photography. Dragonflies are rather shy and usually very difficult to sneak up close enough for them to close up.
