Dog Portrait # 2 - Rocko Tricks

Another really great dog that we were allowed to take care of during our house sitting time was Rocko

Rocko is a Staffordshire Terrier and really needs a lot of attention. You had to constantly challenge him and walk a lot with him. He was able to learn new tricks in no time and even we taught him a relatively complicated trick during the 2 weeks of house sitting.

He actually is an outside dog what means that he spends the night outside alone on his bed. However most of the time he was crying until we let him in.

Unfortunately there are still many people who believe these dogs are dangerous, especially in the european area. This breed is one of the most beloved and trusting breeds and is by no means dangerous. If dogs become dangerous, it is 99% up to the owners and then it does not matter what breed the dog is.

I recently heard of a case in which a French bulldog, yes, the little ones with the big ears, bit their owner dead.
