#theshoppinggame || Tomato sauce and salad shopping

My mum and I went to the market in her car today to shop for some groceries to prepare tomato sauce popularly known as stew.

Before entering the market, we have to pass through security check, to know if we are having our face masks. Of course we are and made it through security

We drove in and packed close to a trader selling cabbages, carrots, green pepper, green beans etc, mostly items for preparing salad and fried rice.

She left to give her tailor her dress at the other side of the market while I set out to buy the items needed.

I bought cabbage, carrots cucumber and green pepper for our salad. Things are quite expensive these days, I almost bought it twice the price before.

Calculating at $1 = #387, we have;

• Cabbage - #500 ~ $1.29
• Carrots - #200 ~ $0.52
• Cucumber - #200 ~ $0.52
• Green Pepper - #200 ~ $0.52
  So a total of $2.85 for salad

Next I bought meat, cow meat. I visited two different butchers to buy two different categories of meat.

Each kilogram of meat I bought costs
#1600 × 2 = #3,200
$4.13 × 2 = $8.26$2.85

The final item I bought before I met my mum was tin tomatoes.
It's costs #300 ~ $0.78$8.26$2.85

I met my mum buying garden eggs. She loves them though she bought a little amount.

We went home and quickly prepared the stew that is meant for lunch.

In total I spent;
$0.78+$8.26+$2.85= $11.89 on groceries.

It's equivalent on steem is 59.45 STEEM

Here's a plate of my food. Notice how my meat is so big. Yes I told the butcher to cut this one specifically for me.

There's no salad yet because we didn't prepare it. We'll do so before it starts spoiling.
