Barcelona, Port Vell, travel watercolor

Hello to all dear friends and welcome back to my blog.

A couple of weeks ago I made a small trip to the Catalan city of Barcelona.

A simple weekend in which I was able to visit some areas of the wonderful city that I had not seen a few years ago.

One of these was Port Vell, the old port that was completely redesigned and re-evaluated before the 1992 World Cup.

Divided into two large marinas, where we have the large maritime station for the destinations of the Balearic islands and a fishing port.

The large yacht port is another gigantic place for docking and storing huge boats that I had never really seen together in all sincerity.

A science fiction vision!

I hope the Steem on the rise will allow me to rent a beautiful sailboat, who knows!

Oh well now I'm going back to Earth and I share some passages of my watercolor with you.

While I was painting sitting on the dock at 14.00 a siren went off and some security officers told me to move.

Why never?

I understood it immediately after, when I saw the pier move, interlocking into the largest pier.

A mobile pier that opens to small tourist boats 4 times a day to let them pass.

However, I was in good company with the seagulls and some mullet that swam in the water of the port.

Armando.

Another very nice scene. I love the warmth you introduced in the painting vis-à-vis the colder feel of the reference / inspiration photo. Well done!

Bravo you centered the problem, it is often better to change colors of the scene. Consider that I took the first two steps sitting on the harbor bench. A big hug.
