in OCD4 years ago (edited)

Hi Buddy, I hope you are safe and following the recommended precaution to protect yourself from Corona.

I am glad to tell you that I live in a country where people are enjoying their life with friends and family and spreading the love around the world. Although India is going through really a bad economic situation due to this Covid-19 still we have hope that you gonna recover it soon and doing our best to support people around us even I am also doing my best to help my country to grow and stand again. India was already facing bad GDP growth and this Covid-19 just put it in even more bad situations according to a survey there are 14Cr people who lost their jobs and many employees who are working from home not getting paid. I am also one of the employees who is not getting paid and still having a smile on my face and hope in my heart that tomorrow will be better enjoying my life.

Five things I like about my country

1. Diversity: The best thing about my country is Diversity and this makes India different from any other country as it has so many religions, social statuses, color, culture however people are living their life peacefully. I really love this Unity and India is the country where we speak more than 1600+ spoken languages but officially there is 22 languages that can be written and speak. Our mother tongue is Hindi which is my favorite language as well which helps me to express my feelings. The religion in India is mainly divided into 4 types such as Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, and Sikhism but there is other religions as well.

2. Festival: The festival in India is just crazy and people are crazy about it. There are so many festivals that you would love to enjoy in different regions but when it comes to enjoying then no matter which region you belong from you will not miss enjoying his/her festival. There are so many famous festivals in India such as Diwali, Holi, Durga Puja, Eid-Ul-Fitr, Ramjan, Gurupurab, Christmas, Bihu, Pongal, Lohri, etc and every festival is celebrated in its own way at the different states of India. Well, My favorite festival is Diwali where I spent my holidays with my family and friends.

3. India Food: Well, If you are foody then you definitely visit India and enjoy the diversity of food, and India is still a Spices king and the test of Indian food is just amazing. I belong to the Eastern part of India but right now due to my study, I live in North-India where I got the opportunity to enjoy the North-Indian food such as Aloo Paratha, Dal-Makhni, Butter Chicken, Makke di roti te Sarso-da-sag etc. There so many famous dishes in different parts of India which makes you feel that you are not just eating food to satisfy your hunger but it will connect you with peace.

4. History & Tourism: India has one of the fist Civilization and there are so many great Warriors born in India who fought to protect our motherland from enemies. The tourism industry is also growing rapidly and people would love to come to India and spent their vacations and explore the History, Diversity, Wonders on India around the globe.

5. Human Value & Ethics: This is the great thing about India which makes it different from any other the love which you can find here, trust me you won't find anywhere else. The love between friends and family is just amazing and we always prefer to live with our family and support each other in every situation life. I would like to give you a recent example when India announced lockdown to save Human life and put the economy at risk this shows the value of human life. If India wanted then they may not announce the lockdown which takes India years back and save Indian economy but just think in the long run what we will do with economy when there will be no Human.

Five things I dislike about my country

1. Politics: There are so many politicians who are governing India from last so many years and they can go to any level of bad things just to get the position and I really feel angry when they put the Sacrifice of Army into it. But right now I feel much happy because India become much stronger than its past and we are ready to reply to our enemies.

2. Population: The population is increasing gradually every single minute which putting a bad impact on our lifestyle and India's economy. There are still so many duffers who consider baby as reward of God rather than considering it reward of having sex without condoms. lol... I know it's pretty weird but this is reality and many people from villages think that if we have large family then we are strong.

3. Superstition: This is really a big problem for the uneducated society of India where people can refer to any belief or practice to follow bloody Superstition rather than consider Scientific facts. I really don't like it whenever someone talks about Black Magic or related belives.

4. Traditional Education: In India we still think about a Degree rather than thinking about skill and I hate these things when you give the edge to the degree not to the knowledge. The majority of people are doing a degree to just get a job and spent their life somehow rather than living it on his/her own conditions.

5. Unemployment: The unemployment rate in India is increasing every single day and due to lockdown more than 14 cr people lost their jobs and the condition become even more painful nowadays. India is the youngest country in the world as our average age in just 20-30 and we have a lot of young minds. The people of India think about others rather than thinking about themselves and try to prove themselves. But trust me this is the time when we need to do brainstorm to bring employment and be a Job creator to help the society and add value to the Indian economy.

Five things i would do to improve life in my country

1. Politics: As I have already mentioned the condition of politics in India that politicians can go to any point to get the chair. I really think we need to think out of the chair first and by choosing the right candidate who has the potential to add value to India rather than giving our valuable votes on the basis of Religion, Caste, Place, etc parameters.

2. Education System: As I have already explained to you how the companies and people in India give the edge to the Degree, not to the knowledge. I personally think our education system needs to revamp and we need to shift towards more practice approach to teach kids/younger generation rather than teaching them to cram and get your CGPA. The majority of Indian students are forced by the parents to choose subjects like Maths, Science, and do Engineering, MBBS rather than asking what a student wants from his life.

3. Reservation System: In India we give reservation on the basis of caste no matter the student is deserving or not but this should be changed and we should give reservation to those students who deserver to get. It would be much better to give reservation to those students who are financially weak.

4. Agriculture & Insfrasture: I would like to improve the lifestyle of farmers as still 70% of the Indian population is serving on farming and we should develop Infrasture for farmers so that they can get max possible benefits of their effort. Whenever, I listen news that any farmer commits suicide, I feel really bad and thank the government is working for farmers to improve their life but still I think the use of technology in farming is not satisfying. We have to bring more technology and build infrastructure for farmers to increase their profit and reduce loss.

5. Strict Law & Regulation to save nature: The current condition of India is not going as it has 10 of the 20 world's most polluted cities where Delhi which is the capital on India is on the top. This happens due to the larger population and we used to ignore our responsibility towards nature and I personally think due to such childish behaviors this is the time of nature to heal itself.

Five things people from elsewhere misunderstand about your country

1. All Indians are vegetarians: People around the world think that all Indians are vegetarian but I would like to clear this that although 70% population of India is vegetarian still people would love to eat a variety of foods from vegetarians food to chicken, Chineses to Mexican etc.

2. Indian always weak Kurta & Saris: Well, this is not the truth because we are not coming from the era of Dianasore. You can easily see the influence of western culture in terms of living style, clothes, fashion etc and we have largest production of Western clothes.

3. India is poor & People are Corrupt: Well, This is not the truth as India is the 6th biggest Economy in the world and it is one of the fastest-growing economies. Indian people aren't corrupt at all because every country has good and bad people and on the basis of that we can't judge a Country rather I would say Indian people are very helping and loving.

4. All Indians follow Hinduism: This is the most common misconception people around the world has but this is not truth. In India no everyone is free to choose their religion and no one force them to convert or accept any particular religion.

5. India is too Hot: This is another misconception that people has but this is not the truth. I accept that India is a
tropical country and we are not as cold as other country but India is a place where you can find different weather in different parts of India. So if you are in Delhi and feeling hot then you can go Manali, Jammu, Simla, Ladakh where you can enjoy Winter,

Five unusual facts about your country

1. First Rocket: This is quite insane as the first Indian rocket transported on the Cycle and India is an expert in doing big things in small budget you can take the example of Mars's mission which costs was around the Film making cost in Hollywood movies. lol..

2. Great Kumbh Mela: This is the largest religious fair in India which generated only once in 12 years and people come here to enjoy the fair in Crores around the different parts of India and this is the largest gathering on earth which can be seen from the Space. This fair is organized in Allahabad (ParyagRaj) at four river-bank pilgrimage sites. Well, I never attended even a single fair till now but I am willing to go to the next Kumbh Mela.

3. Biggest Bird Statue (Jatau): Well, If you have head about Ramayan then there was a famous character who tried to save Sita Maa from Ravan and lost his wins while fighting with Ravan and fell down on the earth. In the memory of Jatau we have build a Park in Kerala named Jatau Nature Park which is a great example of Arts, Culture and Entertainment. It is spred in 65 ars of land and took approx 7 years to build this Biggest Bird Statue.

4. Juggad: There is no doubt Indians are truly smart and very good at Juggad by the way I am also a juggadu person who always try to utilize waste material. We always consider this rule that Nothing is useless we can find any way to utilize it.

5. Smallest Women in the World: India has the smallest women in the world and she also got awarded from Genis book of the world record of being the smallest and lightest woman on the earth. Her name is Jyoti Aange who is just 65 cm and she is 36 years old.

6. Biggest Written Constitution and Largest Post Netowork

Well, If I am going to talk about all the facts and figures then I think the day or words won't be enough so if I miss something then please forgive me.

If you have any query then feel free to discuss with me in comment.
