Forest For Change Entry by @abelanar11 [FROM A FOREST TO A PRODUCTIVE GARDEN]

And this time I will try to participate with other great young men in sharing experiences and knowledge of the forest.

I live in the rural district of North Aceh, where it is in a large district of land, the village of Alue Gampong, Bayi.

Of course, the people nearby, when they hear the village of Alue Gampong, the Bayi will ask how the forest or garden is doing, or what is harvesting right now.

Yeah, I got a patch of garden about two acres or so. It's got a bunch of plants in it like a brown tree, a fruit of rambutan, are fruit to the mangosteen.

And now in the area we are in a harvest of mangoes, where the average local people are busy picking grapevines, and there are those that go up and down into the trees, and there are those that only use colts.

I would like to say that it is the result of hard work when we want to make this forest a means of earning and living.

Because in it too we planted some types of vegetables that we could use every day.

By properly preserving the environment or preserving and maintaining the forest, thus becoming a place that helps the economy.

It does take extra work in the beginning to be a benefit to us.

In the past, the forest was covered with an eye - eyed brush, until our parents finally assumed that if it was left alone, it would be a great loss to take advantage of it for life's necessities. But if this vast forest is well cared for, then perhaps the next 10 years we will get and just enjoy the results.

As a result, it actually happened. Now a forest that was once abandoned is now a very useful place.

In the past, thanks to the hard work of our parents, the forest is useful, now our youthful turns how useful forests can be used for the better in the future. And we can enjoy that result every month for even days.

At present, we are waiting for the mangosteen to be evenly harvested, as different places vary from one another to the next.

People are hoping that this year the price of mangosteen will go up because there's a lot of need. Given that the unfinished pandemic has significantly affected society's economy, and it is also in the nuances, with its many desires and choices, whether ina life-style or in the conditions of daily living.

Some have already enjoyed the full harvest, and some have not.

In my place, there's already a portion of mangoes we can harvest already, and approximately one week or two predicted for the big harvest.

I unhesitatingly invite my friends to come to my house to enjoy mangoes that are pulled directly from the trees without being sold exclusively for the home.

We all know how good it is when we want to take good care of what we have. Much more forest, originally a forest but when properly tended it becomes a garden of many benefits.

There are so many plants that make money in old age, so the old people have a lot of ambition to own small land, why?

Because they think it will be enjoyed in their old age, as well as their children and grandchildren.

And it is evident that today we enjoy the fruits of that labor.

It was such a pleasure that encouraged our enthusiasm to continue the work, to keep and caring for the gardens clean, not letting them keep the profitable gardens overgrown.

Keep the environment sustainable, so that we can enjoy the results.
Whether we look after it and care for it, we get good results.

Note: The forest or garden I told you about was within walking distance of the house, as from behind the house up to two acres [2 ha] behind it.

So I would like to invite all young men to be more active at work, to maintain a healthy and useful environment, to make good use of what is already there.

Let's make the plants our necessity. Because the trees we're going to plant today will benefit us in the future.
