Hello Hivers!

Four down, two to go. I have completed the bishop's design of my autocad series for Chess Pieces. Bishops just like the rooks, are not limited to the distance they can travel across the board but only they can move in a diagonal pattern only. Also it can't jump over a piece just like the horse does. Bishops in starting position can only have a specific color on board where they stand until the match ends. They can never share the same position on the board per participants' pieces.

Process:

The process of creating such design is as simple as the process for the pawn. But some things differ from the two like the arching of the bishop and the oblong shape of its head. Another thing is that the bishop has cut design on its head to further differentiate from the pawn.

Create the one side outline of the bishop. Your design of course.

Check open connections or needs trimming then apply join and revolve tool. Notice the rectangle shape on the other side, that will be the ut design for the bishop.

Extrude the rectangle shape then subtract it to the main figure.

Then you'll get this design. Your chess piece bishop.
