Steemfitnesshub Workout Challenge No 14: Corkscrew Exercise //@essygold/14/12/21
THE CORKSCREW EXERCISE
When I woke up this morning, I decided to check out some few of posts so I can select an article to write on for this week's contests. Then I remembered the @steemfitnesshub Community, I told myself to check out what they have. To my surprise, it was Corkscrew. My shoulders were just feeling sored and painful, I decided to first do the workout challenge to see if I can feel better and it worked out well for me. Let me first show you the research I made about Corkscrew here from Google.
The corkscrew is a core-strengthening exercise that targets the lower abs, hips, and lower back. The twisting movement engages the obliques. This exercise also improves shoulder stability.
Since it is an indor exercise, I reached out to my mat.
This is the first method I followed:
Soon as I lie straight flat on the ground, I felt a loosening on my hip and around my waist region. I also had some movement inside my stomach as if my intestines were opening up.
The Second style shows its own different feelings. Here I go below:
This time around, I felt a weakening on my legs as it is going tired, from my socket joint on the hip down to the laps, I felt pain. Shortly after I felt hot inside my stomach.
The Third method was not an easy one at all for me. Take a look:
I tried to see that my hips were lifted off the mat but it was very difficult for me. I had never tried it before so I had to support myself, lifting with my hands beside my hips. Then I felt pain a little on my legs.
The last exercise was the Fourth one, this one was so difficult for me, because I could not be able to follow the instructor's example of not letting my legs touch the mat. This is the 6 inches above the floor form of exercise. It is hard. It was difficult.
Slightly lifting my legs was as if a heavy weight was placed on my hips, I felt a tightening on the stomach as if a pushing was on my waist. It was not easy as I was just panting and breathing fast.
Generally I love participating because it help me got relieved of my shoulder pain and I felt lighter too. Thank you @okoriepresh27 for this lesson and work out challenge. Looking forward to another workout challenge from you.
