For social interactions and meeting new people on a daily basis, Steemit is outstanding, bringing people of various categories together. People from different countries, ethnicity, language, colour and culture all come together under one umbrella to express themselves and share diverse knowledge.

In a nut shell, Steemit is a social interacting Blogging website that is built on the Blockchain Technology using Cryptocurrency to compensate and pay the users of this site for expressing themselves through creation and curation of contents. The payment is by using the Steem coins that is being mined on a regular basis.

It is a decentralised means not relying on any nation, government, bank or an institution for taking decisions. It is one of the fastest monetary transaction that is built on the Blockchain technology.

AUTHORS

These are the people that are writing and posting contents through Proof of Brain on the Steemit platform.

CURATORS

The Curators are those that check the contents of each article that is posted on the Steemit platform and also reward accordingly each author as the case may be. They also raise funds to see that these Steemit is functioning properly, record the informations posted to the site and they maintain the site too.
