Muktinath is a temple name actually, which is sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. So the valley below and around the Muktinath temple is often called as Muktinath valley as a whole. The temple lies in the lap of beautiful Himalayas at the elevation of around 3800 meters from sea level which is a main attraction to the non-religious tourists.
