Summary of the movie

This movie is talking about a man known as Stanley Sugarman, he has a wife known as Teresa Sugarman while his only child and daughter is known as Alex Sugarman. Mr. Stanley was attending alot of basketball competitions to look for a perfect basketball player who's good at defence. His manager Manager Rex Merrick later made him an assistant coach when came back from different countries where he was looking for a good basketball player.

He shared the good news to his little family and they were happy for him. Bo Cruz is the guy Mr. Stanley saw as a perfect basketball player for defence. He found No Cruz in Spain when his friend told him to check out a street basketball game. Mr. Stanley refused at first but later agreed to it and watched the match. That was where he found Bo Cruz playing and had interest in him.

Mr. Rex Merrick the owner of the basketball team "76ers" died after making Mr. Stanley the assistant coach. His first son Mr. Vince Merrick became the new owner of the basketball team.

The most touching part of the movie

It happened when Mr. Stanley took Bo Cruz to Mr. Vince and his staff. They organised a match within the 76ers their team just to see how good Bo Cruz is in basketball. When the match was about to start, one of Bo Cruz's opponent said something rude to him and this made him angry.

Just because of what his opponent said, he couldn't focus and he lost the match. Mr. Vince Merrick laughed at the guy Mr. Stanley has brought and he didn't listen to anything Mr. Stanley was saying, what Mr. Stanley said was that Bo Cruz is a good player.

Mr. Vince Merrick said he will never accept someone like Bo Cruz to join the team. This pissed Mr. Stanley off and he quickly quitted his job and Mr. Vince said alright and left with his brothers.
Mr. Stanley was sad as well as Bo Cruz. Bo Cruz said he wants to go back to his country and Mr. Stanley told him that he can't just give up just because he losed a match. Bo Cruz changed his mind after getting convinced by Mr. Stanley.

CONCLUSION

After getting much training from Mr. Stanley, Bo Cruz became a very perfect basketball player and he had the chance to compete in the NBA draft combine match after facing alot of challenges.

Mr. Stanley finally became the assistant coach of the 76ers team again and Bo Cruz's mother and little daughter were both happy for him.
