THE BRIGHT FUTURE:

Every fellow steemian know that steemit is a Blockchain based social media platform, which completed it's five year anniversary recently with approximately 1.2 million users. 1.2 million users for a platform like steemit is pretty much low. It can be a small social media platform now but it will reach new heights when blockchain becomes mainstream and used by majority of people in the world in their day to day life. At that time everyone will be searching for a way to be a part of blockchain technology and this is were steemit will gain attention as a blockchain based social media and blogging platform.
At present according to a HSBC survey, 59% of the consumers polled said they had never heard of blockchain technology. Furthermore 80% of those who heard about the tech said that they don't understand it.
From this we can understand that majority of people don't have knowledge about blockchain technology source .The time will arrive when every people will hear about blockchain technology and speak about it as the revolution.

At the rate blockchain is growing and gaining attention it will become mainstream soon than people are expecting and the rate of growth of blockchain will be fueled by bitcoin.

BITCOIN THE BLOCKCHAIN PROMOTER:

At present bitcoin is the hot topic among people and most people who hear about bitcoin will also know about blockchain as it is built on a blockchain. Bitcoin will be the tool that will get the importance of Blockchain and dapps to majority of the people. With influential people and companies investing in bitcoin, the growth of bitcoin as a mainstream currency is inevitable.

The news of El Salvador announcing bitcoin as their legal currency and promoting it is just the beginning and we can expect more news like this to popup in the near future. And people will find it as a digital asset and alternate currency because of the endless money printing and inflation. This is will get everyone to know about blockchain and it is bullish(however the market may look now) in long term for steem and other cryptocurrencies as this will get new investors into the market.

With the constant support and promotion from steemians like sir stephenkendal and steemcurators, steemit will reach new heights in coming days.
