Geese or ducks?

I’d like to share photos of these geese (or are they ducks?), they have feathers for sure:-)

I took these photos in Colorado. This year we visited that place but the birds were gone, and the pond became almost dry. We came all prepared with a loaf of bread to feed them, but ended up eating it ourselves.
