Most people have been hacked and most have lost there account due to lack of awareness and knowledge on how to use steemit.
That's why I would like to share a few idea with you all.
After you might have had finished creating your account and registered your self on steemit there are steps to take before u can login to your account.
Now while creating your account there was an pdf download that was done by you that says keys for you E.g(keys for @yakon20 ) now after downloading there were lots of keys there for example
Private posting key
Memo key
Master key E.t.c
Each key has its own function and description depending on what u want to do .

Each keys are divided according to their task E.g
Active key for transfer
Posting key for login into account
Master key for retrieval of passwords
And so on and so forth

As the picture appears or shows you will be given two two dialogue to put in ur details.
First of all write down your username E.g @yakon20
And then secondly your password from your keys
Not just any key can open your account
You can only your PRIVATE POSTING KEY TO LOGIN
And remember do not share your data with anyone.
