ACHIEVEMENT 2 BASIC SECURITY SYSTEM IN THE STEEMIT BLOCKCHAIN.

Hello friends, how are you steemians.
I hope you are all well, today I want to tell you about all the keys used in the statement that were given to us in the PDF when creating the account.

I want to explain to you about the function of each key and how to use it so that the steem account can be well secured and safe from the bad people who will try to break into the security system to steal your asset.

The password is the main key you are to use when login to any platform so also steem. In steem there are many and different parts, according to the action you are to take on, therefore you must be able to differentiate the use of each key that you received when downloading a PDF file you first login.

The most important way to keep your steem account safe is to store the master password in a safe place and use another password to keep the security documents e.g Google drive etc

To login to your steemit account you only need to use the password that suits the function of each password.

Password that steemians must use.

1.POSTING KEY
This key is used for social networking actions, like posting, commenting and voting. The key has a limited set of permission and it is not able to be use for funding actions.
It is use to resteem content, follow people, edit post , publish post or comment and also upvote and downvote.

2.ACTIVE KEY
This key function to operate the asset that we have such as transferring tokens, power ups, power downs, trading and marketing.
It is use for converting of steem dollars, refreshing of your profile subtleties and symbols and also create a new user.

3.OWNER KEY
This key gives you permission to recover your account or change your other keys. It is use to decline voting rights. It is so important that you are to keep it in a well secured place and should be stored well.

4.MEMO KEY
This key is specifically used to encrypt a message either send or view a message and decrypt private messages sent or received via the user account.

5.MASTER PASSWORD
This key can be used to generate a new password and get a new PDF document. You should never share your master password with anyone, this password is the main password to the steem account and that really needs to be guarded to avoid stealing of account.

I plead with you to have high precautionary measures when dealing with any of the keys most especially the master key. Therefore it is expected that all the keys should be saved in your email draft, write down or Google drive it.

This post is about the basic security of a steem account that you need to know and hopefully it is useful for me and who are still new to steem.
