It is a great honor to present my achievement 6 which is about my understanding on curation and community.

Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?

Curation in Steemit means Voting. To understand this further, we have to look at what a Voting Mana is.
VOTING MANA: This is something we can imagine to be like a bar that always goes down a bit every time one vote. A small amount of your voting mana is used anytime you vote. The initial voting mana is 100%. The use of your voting mana is inversely proportional to the influence on the vote. This means that, the more you use your voting power, the lesser the influence on the vote. The good news is that, the voting mana would be recharged by 20% daily by the network.
100% voting strength is required for new users to vote. For users with 500 Steem power, a vote slider appears for them to adjust between 1% and 100% voting strength in order to vote.

What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

After payout, 50% of the reward goes to the curator and the other 50% goes to the author of the post or comment.
100% of the curation reward will remain in the rewards pool if a post is upvoted immediately after posting.
The time of voting of the post determines the percentage the percentage the curator receives. Below shows the percentage received for voting before 5 minutes marks after posting.
At 1 minute, the curator receives 20%, and 80% remains in the rewards pool.
At 2 minutes, the curator receives 40%, and 60% remains in the rewards pool.
At 3 minutes, the curator receives 60%, and 40% remains in the rewards pool.
At 4 minutes, the curator receives 80%, and 20% remains in the rewards pool.

Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?

@steemchiller will be first person I would vote as a witness. He developed Steemworld.org which is a tool used to do many amazing things such as checking reward summary, checking incoming and outgoing votes, delegating Steem Power, and many more. He is ranked number one among other witnesses with Votes of 139.136 PV and only 183 total misses.
Another person I would vote as a witness is @justyy who also developed the steemyy.com tool. He is third in the table of witnesses with votes of 129.772 PV and total misses of 860.

Newcomer's Community
This community provides the needed support or guidelines to new users. This is where the achievement tasks are available to users. These tasks help newbies to know the rules of Steemit and also learn more about steemit. New users would be introduced to applying markdowns and how to use important steem tools. I am really happy for being part of this great community.

Contests in this community are mostly about topics that I enjoyed taking part in.

This community discusses anything related to the beautiful game of football. From upcoming matches, transfers, analysis of matches, players and teams stats and many more.

Steem Ghana
Steem Ghana is a community which unites all Steemians in my country(Ghana). Interesting contests are organized regularly in this community for members to participate.
