Achievement 5.2 !
Good day everyone, today I will be attempting my achievement 5.2 review of steemscan.
Steem scan was developed by @futureshock as a web application for used for monitoring activities which goes on the steem block chain.
In addition to monitoring function steemscan can be used to convert steem to various other crypto currencies.
Over the time steem scan has undergone various updates to better improve it's performance and functionality.
As at today steem scan currently runs on version 0.0.4
As at today being Friday, April 22nd 2022 steem is valued at $0.56
This is the first thing you would see when you visit the website.
As at today Friday April 22 2022 the current trading volume of sbd and steem are as follows.

Under this section in steemscan it shows all the lastest activities which have been carried out on the steem network.
Activities such as upvotes, downvotes, power up, transfers, comments account creation, basically this tab shows any action which takes places on the network.
The latest transaction section constantly refreshing per second as more transactions keep coming.
As seen in the image above we can see transfers, limit orders, votes, time stamps and also the accounts that made such transcations.
Like many of us are aware of crypto tokens are being mined in blocks.
The lastest block section shows us the most recently mined blocks as well as thier IDs
From the above we can see the block ID, time stamp, height and block transactions.
Steemscan has a distinguishing feature which enables users obtain valuable information about the various witness on steemit.
Witness are particularly important people on the steem blockchain who are capable of hosting a portion of the decentralized network, without the witness the operation of the block chain won't go smoothly.
From steemscan we can see all the active witnesses and thier ranks.
I always vote for @dlike I like all the good work he has been doing and the steem promotion.
The process of voting for witnesses has been made a whole lot use through using steemscan.
I will know share with you the process of doing Soo.
Step 1 : visit steemscan.com
After visiting steemscan select on menu as seen above.
Step 2 : click on witness
This would take you or a page containing all the witnesses and thier ranks.
Step 3 : click one vote
From all the witnesses available pick one of your choice and click vote
Step 4 :
After selecting vote you would be taken to a page where you would confirm you are voting for the particular witness.
Step 5 : password and login
You would be required to input your password and login
Fear not this site is save.
Step 6 : the end.
After your password and login is verified this page would come up. Signaling that your vote is on its way.
The apps are an advanced form of application which serves the same purpose os regular applications but difference in functionality and security seeing as they are hosted on a decentralized network rather than on a centralizer network..
Various dapp that can been found on steem network.
•steemworld: i mainly use this dapp in checking my active post and seeing what percentage of vote I got from steem curators.
•sunswap : I use this dapp to swap my Tron for sun token.
•steemscan : recently I used this dapp to vote for @dlike as my steem witnesses.
Quick convert can be seen on the main menu
What quick convert does it that it helps user to quickly convert thier steem to usdt, TRX or btc very fast and simply.
From the image above all you need do is select the number or steem you want to convert. Input the destination wallet and what you are converting your steem to.
After doing all this you would be required to input your password and login.
That's all.
Each coin has its own different fee charged.
We would be looking at the various fees charged for btc,TRX and usdt.
For usdt
The fee for usdt is 1.1144~usdt
For btc
The fee for btc us 0.00050723 btc
For TRX
The fee for TRX is 3.81trx.
Note from this observation we find out that btc has the highest fee and TRX has the smallest fee.
The search feature is a special feature which can be used to search for various information on the steem network.
Information such as transaction id, witness and so on.
From the image above we can see how we can conduct a more details search as well. Which would I clude date account type and others.
conclusion
This brings me to the end of my achievement 5.2. it was very long but I got to learn alot about steem scan and I can now saw it is a very important feature in which all users should. I now invite my friend @swaylee go through this beautiful write up by me and equally attempt your achivment 5.2.
