INTRODUCTION

A basket full of appreciation have I brought to all members of steemit world. Directly or indirectly, it have been team force, and it was and continue to be necessary since a tree cannot make a forest.

Left for my personal perfection alone, completing the task would have been a very difficult and/or almost a mission impossible.
As a result, I want to use the golden opportunity to appreciate all and sundry who in one way or the other contributed to my intellectual improvement as regards to the steemit ecosystem.

In that regards, I want to acknowledge these wonderful personalities for their indefatigable support.... Starting with the wonderful friends that birthed me in this great platform.....

Hello ladies and gentlemen, on this note I welcome you to my final achievement task,
Achievement 6 which aims at explaining in detail my understanding of curation, voting, witness, and communities in the steemit platform.
Let's ride....

To do this as a steemian, you need a rooted knowledge of the steemworld.org for a better efficiency, which is your achievement5 Task1.

CURATION AND VOTING

CURATION;
this can be explained as a means by which a steemian vest some powers on an author's comments or post, which are at later on shared with you & all other curators based on your delegation power on the very curated post or comment, which is obviously a minute reward system depending on the steemian that curates the post.

But on the other hand, there are bigger curating machineries in the system that delegators majorly use in curating posts and comments, for example @steemcurator01, @steemcurator02, @steemcurator03, and so on. Unfortunately, I'm among the week curation presently...

As you can see in the picture above, I've got no curation reward.

VOTING;
This could be seen as a process where diverse author's posts & comments are powered in a system known as up vote or down vote.

Meanwhile, the upvote system adds to the reward of the author's post or comment where as a down vote reduces it.

In addition, there are votes that are insignificant or rather doesn't count in the system, and as a result adds nothing to the author's post or comment.

Such votes are coming from people that have less than 500SP, and people who adjusted their voting strength to a very minimal percentage by using the adjustable slider.

For example, a preferable adjustment of your voting range upto 50-100% can attract an appreciatble increase to an authors Post or comment.

WITNESS;
these are diverse developers and reputable inventors in the steemit ecosystem who has contributed greatly to the development and long lasting of the system. Examples are: @steemchiller, @justyy, etc.

COMMUNITIES;
This involves different units in the steem ecosystem with their special and distinct characteristics where steemiams streamline their diverse posts without any restriction, as far as the post is still addressing the mandate of that very community.
As it stands now, I am an active member of several communities ranging from @steemalive, @campusconnect, @aroundtheworld @writingandreview, @steemitnetwork to mention but few where I have been participating in different activities like weekly contest and so on.

CONCLUSION

So far so good, as an active steemian, I have learnt to vote, curate, create communities etc as required by this achievement 6.
