Hello steemians
Yesterday I made a review post on steemworld, today I’ll be talking about steemscan.com through this achievement post created by @cryptokannon to help newbies get familiar with steemit.

Steemscan.com developed by @roadofrich and @futureshock, is a steem exchange tool built on the steem blockchain, steemscan.com is mostly used in converting steem into other cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, TRX, it is a user friendly tool which even newbies can easily understand, another convenience about the steem scanning tool is that it does not require KYC for its users.

Below are some menus on steemscan.com.

Steem Volume and Price

On the home page of steemscan.com the volume and price of steem are easily seen.

Latest Prices and Latest Blocks

In this view we will be able to find and see all the information clearly about the latest transactions and latest blocks.

The latest block contains information on all steemit user activities such as Follow, Upvote, Steem transactions, SBD transactions and Steem or SBD purchases in

the internal market.

About Fast Conversion

In this conversion we can see and find out how much it costs for one amount of steem withdrawals,
To perform this action, select the menu and then select fast conversion.
Next, enter the amount of steem you want to transact then select the currency you want to exchange to, for example TRX, then enter the TRX ID or withdrawal address for TRX, then the amount will automatically appear on the screen

Dapps

Dapps (decentralized app) is a computer app that runs on a distributed computing system.

Users can check the program code and suggest corrections. If other people support the changes, they will take effect. In other words, control lies in the hands of the user community. For example, if you find an error, you can always fix it, and invite the community to vote for a new version of the code. As a result, the application will be updated and the error will be taken care of.

The core benefits of DApps

• The lack of censorship by the government or developers. Corporations can’t buy back the app and change terms applicable to the use of it. Any manipulations must have the clear support of the community. The app will vary with the nature of the users’ decisions to be taken.
• Stability. Traditional applications may experience temporary network problems or technical difficulties. Imagine you log in to your Instagram and bam! The pics are not loaded. The DApps servers are located on the users’ devices, so they will work as long as there is at least one user on the network.
• Transparency. You can check the open-source code of the application any time you want to. If you know the programming language, you will understand the processes in the system. DApps have no functions hidden from the user. What is more, they can’t collect users’ data or personal information behind their back. Otherwise, the part of the code in charge of doing it will be publicly available. I intend to make use of SteemWorld, Dlease and Appics.

Search

The search sub menu is used to find information about your account, you should directly select an account in the transaction section and enter your steemit account name.

Witness

Under the witnesses sub menu, it shows all the list of witnesses and also the current witness of steem that you can easily vote for. Other things are Witness's Status, Rank, and Version.
