What Is Plagiarism ?

The word "Plagiarism" is used for the copied content, ideas or expression without giving credit to the original creator/worker.

There are several types of Plagiarism:

  1. Complete
  2. Direct
  3. Self
  4. Mosaic
  5. Accidental

Complete Plagiarism it is the most severe shape of plagiarism, it can happen when the work of another creator can be stolen. The type of plagiarism can all so considered as most serious form of plagiarism.

Direct Plagiarism happens when the original creator takes the majority of their draft nearly word- for-word, without the utilization of quotes. The substance maker passes it of as their own work. And afterward, the substance maker passes it of as their own work.

Self Plagiarism This type is also called Plagiarism, it can happens which the creator take his/her previous work in current work without giving reference. This type mostly used by published researchers.

Mosaic Plagiarism This happen when creator use someone else work as its own research, while using paraphraser. This type of plagiarism is not easily detected. It is also known as patchwork plagiarism.

Accidental Plagiarism This is unintentional plagiarism, but still there is not excuse when you steal someone else work. This happen when author accidentally plagiarize someone's work and neglect to cite their source.

What are the causes of plagiarism?

Original Content makers who counterfeit generally miss the mark on ability to make their own quality substance.
Creators invest a ton energy and exertion while making their substance since they maintain that the substance should be of important when it goes out into people in general.

When an author creates a content that has made lots of profit the one who steals it then realizes that content for him/her to make profit from it.

Avoiding plagiarism:

  • Whenever you use someone's work, kindly give him/her credit
  • Always cite the source you have taken the content from.
  • Use plagiarism detector before finalized.

These are the some of the points, that I can say about plagiarism on steemit.

Citation Example:

Cormac McCarthy writes the following as pertains to cowardice:

It was always himself that the coward abandoned first. After this all other betrayals came easily.

Remarks:

I have read and understood the steemit etiquette on steemit community and I will do all my best possible to embrace them at the end of this task post.
