Haz la Diferencia, No al Plagio

La Palabra plagio se deriva del latin “Plagium” que tiene que ver con el hecho de usurpación. También plagio se puede referir al hecho de secuestrar o retener a una persona en contra de su voluntad.
En esta ocasión nos centraremos en el plagio a nivel intelectual, es decir usurpar la autoría de una obra ajena, ya sea para lucrarnos o no.

“El plagio es usar el trabajo, las ideas, o las palabras de otra persona como si fueran propias, sin acreditar de manera explícita de donde proviene la información. El plagio es una infracción del derecho de autor sobre una obra de cualquier tipo, que se produce mediante la copia de la misma, sin autorización de la persona que la creó o que es dueña o que posee los derechos de dicha obra, y su presentación como obra original.” Fuente

Los Plagios de una obra pueden ser totales o parciales. El hecho de plagiar puede generar consecuencias legales según las leyes de cada país. El plagio es una acción deshonesta y afecta al autor moral y económicamente.
Hoy en día gracias a la globalización de la información y las tecnologías ha incrementado el índice de plagios. En internet se ve cada vez más contenido duplicado, difusión de libros o música en las que el autor no ha dado consentimiento. En otras palabras el plagio y la usurpación de autoría están a la orden del día y se ha convertido en un monstruo difícil de controlar.

Sin embargo, existen herramientas tanto de pago como gratuitas que permiten determinar la originalidad de un texto. Es importante rescatar la redacción de contenido original que brinde valor a los lectores.
Con esto además de mantener nuestra ética, establecemos una reputación en el mundo online y además nos evitamos problemas legales.

Debemos desarrollar buenas prácticas a la hora de redactar cualquier documento o texto, como por ejemplo:

• Desarrollar contenido que aporte algo positivo al lector.
• Si se toma una porción de un texto, debemos citar la fuente.
• Ser originales, dar nuestro enfoque al tema que buscamos desarrollar.
• No hacer uso excesivo de las citas.

Con esta publicación estoy cumpliendo con el logro 3, como creadora de contenido estoy al tanto de lo que significa el plagio, todas mis publicaciones hasta ahora son de mi autoria con énfasis en que soy amante de la lectura y el análisis de libros y escrituras de enriquecimiento personal, en mi ultimo blog estaba escribiendo un segmento del libro de Joyce Meyer sobre un pensamiento, en mi pais los cortes de energía eléctrica son constantes y también la deficiencia en la conexión a internet, lo cierto es que al comenzar el blog hubo un blackout y antes de perder lo que estaba haciendo subí la publicación, estuvimos 24 horas sin energía eléctrica, y al otro día pude terminar el escrito, sin embargo fue marcado por el limpiador de plagio, me dejó una enseñanza de que no se puede publicar algo sin terminar o dejarlo para luego.

En este sentido, me siento muy complacida de poder escribir este articulo y hacer un llamado a todos los que están comenzando en esta plataforma social, de que hay muchas maneras de hacer blogs interesantes, partiendo de la premisa que todos tenemos habilidades y talentos que podemos explotar, amoldarlo a la comunidad que nos guste, y plasmar la esencia en cada publicación, las mejores publicaciones son aquellas que vienen de nuestro corazón, que nos identifica como seres humanos, como ese libro abierto, cada vida es una historia imperdible. Gracias a todo el equipo de Steemit por la oportunidad que nos otorgan al perfeccionarnos como escritores, esto nos lleva a sacar lo mejor de nosotros, a ser mejores personas en todo lo que hacemos por sencillo que parezca.

No Temamos a la corrección, siempre y cuando esta nos lleve alcanzar nuevos niveles de excelencia con mejores resultados.

Make a Difference, No Plagiarism.

The word plagiarism is derived from the Latin "Plagium" which has to do with the fact of usurpation. Plagiarism can also refer to the fact of kidnapping or holding a person against their will.
On this occasion we will focus on plagiarism at the intellectual level, that is, usurping the authorship of another's work, whether for profit or not.

"Plagiarism is using the work, ideas, or words of another person as if they were your own, without explicitly crediting the source of the information. Plagiarism is an infringement of copyright on a work of any kind, which occurs by copying it, without authorization from the person who created it or who owns or holds the rights to that work, and presenting it as an original work." Plagiarism of a work may be total or partial. The fact of plagiarizing can generate legal consequences according to the laws of each country. Plagiarism is a dishonest action and affects the author morally and economically.
Nowadays, thanks to the globalization of information and technologies, the rate of plagiarism has increased. On the Internet we see more and more duplicate content, dissemination of books or music in which the author has not given consent. In other words, plagiarism and usurpation of authorship are the order of the day and have become a monster difficult to control.

However, there are both paid and free tools that allow you to determine the originality of a text. It is important to rescue the writing of original content that provides value to readers.
With this, in addition to maintaining our ethics, we establish a reputation in the online world and also avoid legal problems.

We must develop good practices when writing any document or text, such as:

• Develop content that brings something positive to the reader.
• If a portion of a text is taken, we must cite the source.
• Be original, give our approach to the topic we seek to develop.
• Do not make excessive use of quotations.

With this publication I am fulfilling achievement 3, as a content creator I am aware of what plagiarism means, all my publications so far are of my authorship with emphasis that I am a lover of reading and analyzing books and writings for personal enrichment, in my last blog I was writing a segment of Joyce Meyer's book about a thought, in my country the power cuts are constant and also the deficiency in the internet connection, the truth is that when I started the blog there was a blackout and before losing what I was doing I uploaded the publication, we were 24 hours without power, and the next day I could finish the writing, however it was marked by the plagiarism cleaner, it left me a lesson that you can not publish something unfinished or leave it for later.

In this sense, I am very pleased to be able to write this article and make a call to all those who are starting on this social platform, that there are many ways to make interesting blogs, based on the premise that we all have skills and talents that we can exploit, mold it to the community that we like, and capture the essence in each publication, the best publications are those that come from our heart, which identifies us as human beings, like that open book, each life is a story unmissable.
