Achievement 3 by @theentertainer | Task : Content Etiquette

Hello, I hope all are well today I joined the platform three months ago and currently my reputation point is 63.8 but I don't have much free time so, I didn't posted any Achievement post after the Achivement2 post, but today I have time and I want to finish my Achivement3 post which topic is made to aware the newcomers about plagiarism and prohibited content and to teach them to use citation, mentioning sources and the use of correct labels according to topic.

Well, you can post pictures, memes, videos, and articles in any topic on Steemit, but except the topic which are prohibited by the terms of service of Steemit.

When we copied any article from the Web then we post on other site or in steemit, then the act is called as plagiarism and the content is known a plagiarised content, So It is a very bad act as you stole some one's content without doing any hardwork. Plagiarism was divided into several forms but one of them is known as Self-Plagiarism. When we copy our own content then repost it then it counted as Self-Plagiarism and it is also prohibited too. So, if you want to make readers conect with your article then you must, and want good rewards, then you must avoid these practices.

When we post good content then it is also necessary to put relevant tags with them, and it will be user to read the topic he want, and if we put irrelevant tags then it acts like a clickbait and by doing this we are increasing our chance to get downvotes. So we should avoid using of same tags for different contents.

Well, it is also important for to add NSFW Label on topics which include sexual things, because the users work here are from different age groups and also all user don't like that type of content. So, it is necessary to put that label.

Some times we need to add quotes, sayings or official statements in our article, and they are already part of someone's content So we need to cite them by using correct markdowns For instance:-

"Expansion is Life, Contraction is Death. Love is Life, Hatred is Death.” - Swami Vivekananda.

It is a saying by Swami Vivekananda and used by multiple sites we used it so we need to give citation in it.

Next we have to use original pictures in our content captured by our camera or smartphone, if not then we can use images from Canva, Pexels, Pixabay by mentioning them as source as they come with creative commons license and free from any copyright. For Instance:-

As the image I uploaded from Pexels so, I mentioned the source, but that doesn't mean you can add photos from any site by mentioning source you can only add a picture from a copyright free site.
