Achievement 2 @thebeast001 Task : Basic Security on Steem

Hello everyone there, wishing each one is doing great. So, here this is my second achievement in the first one i gave a basic introduction of myself and now i am talking about the basic securities in steemit.

1) Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Ans.

Yes sure i have retrieved all my keys and saved them privately in my laptop as well as in a hard drive.

2) Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Ans.

During the sign up process in steemit we got a document in which all our keys with their respective codes are given now here i am going to explain each one of them separately.

Master password

It is the most important and the main key which is used to retrieve all the other keys including the owner key. It is mostly used during the time of account recovery.

Owner key

It is also the one of important key which used to change any key of the account including the owner key itself. It is recommended to store it offline and use only when required.

Posting Key

Is the key which is required for account to post, vote, comment, resteem, etc. Is is required to login everyday in the account and to post anything from your account.

Active key

Basically this key is used mainly for the money purposes such as transferring steem to account, up vote or down vote, converting steem dollars, changing profile and for market order.

Memo key

This key is used during transferring funds for encrypting and decrypting memos.

So, this is all about the keys keep all of them safe if you don't want to damage your account.

3) How do you plan to keep your master password?

Ans.

I kept my master password in a very safe place that no one expect me can reach there. Is is hide in a folder in my laptop as well as in my hard drive and a printed copy is also kept in my almirah locker.

4) Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Ans.

Now i show you step by step how to transfer steem to another account :

Step 1

Click on Wallet in your profile.

Step 2
Click on the amount of steem token you have.

Step 3
Now click on the transfer option.

Step 4
Now write the amount of steem token you want to transfer and and name of account to which the coins to be transferred and click on next.

Step 5
Now you are done just click on OK button.

5) Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Ans.

Now again we go though the process of how to power up your STEEM step by step.

Step 1

Click on the no. Of steem token you have in your wallet section.

Step 2

Now click on the power up option there.

Step 3
Now write the amount of coins you want to power up and then click on power up.

Step 4

Now here we are finally done just you have to click on ok button.
