in Newcomers' Community3 years ago (edited)

Hello fellow Steemians and all the wonderful members of the Newcomers' Community, hope we are all doing fine and having a great weekend as well. Today I took time out to study about some great tools on Steemit, and I must say I learnt a lot.
So in this post, I will be reviewing one of the tools on Steemit, which is steemworld.org.

MY REVIEW OF STEEMWORLD.ORG

This is a tool on Steemit developed by one of the top witnesses @steemchiller and it is a very versatile and helpful tool.
This tool helps a Steemit account holder to monitor every information about his or her account. You can monitor your voting power, your activities, your rewards, your balances, your delegations, etc

Once you visit the site, you will see the screen in the picture above, then to use this tool, you have to log in with your Steemit account username and your private posting key, and once you are in, you can carry out so many different activities with this tool.

CHECKING REWARD SUMMARY

After logging in, click on Dashboard because that is where you carry out most of your activities on steemworld.org, once the Dashboard opens you will see the Stats bar.

Click on the Stats bar, after clicking on the Stats bar, then you will scroll down to see your Reward summary. You would see your All time, 30 days, and 7days rewards summary.

DELEGATIONS AND HOW TO DELEGATE SP.

Delegation is simply a process of lending another Steemit user part of your Steem Power(SP). The SP delegated still belongs to you and will be returned to you after the delegation period is over.

Note that Steem Power can only be delegated an can never be transfered from one steemit user to another.

There are two types of Delegation, which are:

  • Incoming Delegation: which is the Delegation you received from a fellow Steemit user, and

  • Outgoing delegation: which is the Delegation you gave out to a fellow Steemit user.
You can check and monitor this too on Steemworld.org by clicking on the Delegations bar and then click on either outgoing or incoming to see your status on either of them.

Now to delegate SP to another user, you simply click on delegate, then a window with a form pops up, you simply fill the form with the required information and then click on delegate to delegate the desired amount of SP.

Always remember that to delegate SP, you need you Private Active Key.

CHECKING INCOMING AND OUTGOING VOTES:

To carry out this operation, click on the STATS BAR and then scroll down you will see a tab on the right hand corner with incoming votes and out going votes you click on any of those to either show you your incoming or outgoing votes.

Below is a screenshot of my incoming votes.

CHECKING ACCOUNT OPERATIONS:

Still in the Dashboard, click on the Account operations bar and it will show you your account operations.
Under Account Operations, you can find the following information:

  • Comments
  • Comments and votes
  • Custom JSON
  • Delegations
  • Downvotes(flags)
  • Market orders
  • Rewards
  • SPS related
  • Transfers
  • Upvotes(no flags)
  • Votes
  • Witness related.

AUTHOR, CURATION AND BENEFICIARY REWARDS.

  • AUTHOR REWARDS:

Author rewards are only gotten from posting and commenting on other peoples post. When you post or comment on posts, people vote your post or comment and you get author's reward.

  • CURATION REWARD:

This is gotten from voting other people's posts or comments. A part of the payout on every post is shared amongst those that upvoted the post and that is the curation reward.

  • BENEFICIARY REWARD:

This is gotten when another user gifts you either Steem or SBD. For instance you partake in a contest and you win, then the organiser sends you Steem or SBD as reward, that is beneficiary reward.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR UPVOTE VALUE AT DIFFERENT VOTING WEIGHTS.

20210417_160719.jpg

To check you upvote value just take a look at the top of the dashboard you will find it there, you will see what your upvote is worth at 100%, you can also see what it is worth at different voting weights, as shown in the table.
You can also vary the voting weights by sliding the coloured wheel encompassing the 100% to give you different voting weights and then you can see the upvote value.

From the screenshot I shared above, you can see that my SP is still very low and as such my upvote for now has no value.

Finally I have come to the end of my review, and I hope this would be a good guide to all new users on how to use steemworld.org
