RE: 🤖 AI on Steemit: The DOs, DON'Ts & Community Rules
people will always opt for the easiest option
Yes, and for many, the easiest option is to ignore the issue altogether.
it will increase and there will come a point where it will be impossible to stop it.
I've had similar discussions with remlaps. Worst case, Steemit will just become AI talking to AI with bots voting.
elaborate your own point of view
Exactly that. It can be helpful for error checking, improving titles and suggesting appropriate tags.
Using AI is cheating and should be punished. And I think the punishment should be more severe if the infringement is done by experienced users with a certain reputation...
I very much agree with this and in the past, have been asked "Why did you write a post about me instead of just a warning?" and my answer has always been - "You are in a position of privilege and trust. You have been put in a position in which you are a role model..." etc. My efforts in catching people are usually those with access to a steemcurator or booming votes. "High value targets" if you like your action movies.
In a way, we think the same, but I think I am a little more radical/severe when it comes to punishing.
I'd probably like to be more harsh / severe with punishments - ZERO tolerance would be the best deterrent.
I like your work and what you do for the platform! My respects to you!
Thanks 👍
Getting the "untouchables" is my favourite...
