I hope that all of guys are well.
My achievement 1 has been confirmed by the @hassanabid The aim of writing this post is to meet up to the required task giving by @Cryptokannon and other hierarchy in steemit.
I have five questions by @Cryptokannon to explain about Security System on Steemit . Because it is necessary for newbies and other steemers to know Security System on Steemit.
Question 1 :
Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?
Yes, I have retrieved all my keys on Steemit.
I've saved all my private keys in digital file and in my personal computer and in Google Cloud and also in my personal diary.
All of these will allow me to reuse my private keys when I need to use.
Question 2:
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Yes. I know
STEEMIT have a different types of keys / passwords and each of these is associated with an account.
Each has a different function which is as follows
1: POSTING KEY
Posting Key used by us to login account at steemit.This key allows accounts to post, comment, vote and follow other accounts.Then all the other interesting users can follow and write comments on their posts through their STEEMIT PROFILE.
The posting key will prohibit any third party from transferring any funds from your account, such as transferring any assets from your wallet or engaging in interval market trading.
2: ACTIVE KEY
It is used for monetary and wallet related actions, such as transferring tokens or powering STEEM up and down. converting Steem Dollars,User can also transfer, trade the internal Market, move & control Funds and Vote for Witnesses.
3: OWNER KEY
It is a very important key apart from your master password. You have full control over your steem account.The owner key is only meant for use when necessary. It is the most powerful key Because it can change any account key, including the owner's.. With the Owner Key you can transfer any funds in your Account
4: MEMO KEY
Memo key is the only key is specifically used for Private Messaging,This key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds. it is also used to encrypt and decrypt private messages sent & received via your Steemit account.
5: PUBLIC KEY
Public key are associated with usernames and are used to encrypt and verify messages. these are not required for login
STEEMIT WALLET
This is almost similar to the traditional cryptocurrency wallets we are used to, we can send, receive or store steem in it, but it is different because it includes a new concept of having 3 sub-wallets all tied to stem
i ) Steem wallet - For the native coin
ii) Sp wallet - to store steem power
iii) SBD wallet - For the steem based dollar
Question 3:
How do you plan to keep your master password?
Yes. I have saved the master password in my google cloud which I can reveal and also it penned down in my diary, with a few more numbers and letters to avoid discovery and theft.
Question 4:
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Yes I know . How to transfer steem token to another user is quit simple
Click on wallet.
Click on transfer on the drop down menu.
Dialogue box will appear then fill in with the username of the person you’re transferring the money to and the amount you are transferring.
Question 5:
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Yes I know.
Click on Wallet.
Click on PowerUp
A menu will appear. Enter the amount you want to power up with and click on power up.
