ACHIEVEMENT 2 @Swagon : BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM

Hello Steemians, how is your day going? Hope you all are doing great.
Well i want you guys to follow me on this ride as i explain the basic security on steem and also how master password works without neglecting the differences in they keys.

BASIC SECURITY
This are the basic measures taken to safe guard every steemit users account and also secure our accounts during transactions from any third party or anyone trying to access our accounts.

WHAT ARE THE BASIC SECURITY MEASURES:
Every steemit user all have unique keys and master password given to us when we signed in. In short those keys and master password are the basic security measures as a steemit user.

Question 1 : Did you retrieve all your keys on steem.

Answer : I have retrive all my keys on steem

Question 2 : Do you know each of these key funtions and restrictions.

Answer:
MASTER PASSWORD:
Master password is the password you get during signing up and i will say it is a very important password as it enable you access your account and also retrive other keys if forgotten. (i advice you keep it safe). Also the only reason you should be using this master password is when you are going through account recovery.

THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF KEYS AND THEIR USES
Posting Key:
This key enables the user post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, mute and follow other accounts. In otherwords it is essential for everyday logins.

Active key:
This is a very sensitive key used for transferring funds, power up/down transactions, converting steem dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details and placing market orders.

Owner key:
This is the most powerful key because it can change any key of an account and ideally used to recover a compromised account.

Memo Key:
This is used for encrypting and also decrypting memos during transferring funds to keep the transaction safe. And in other to encrypt a memo use the pound or #sign before it.

Question 3 : How you want to keep your master password.

Answer :
Well knowing how important all these keys are i plan to save my master key in my google cloud so i can retrieve it easily and i believe it is very safe from third parties.

Question 4 : How can you transfer your steem token to another steem user.

Answer :
Here is how to transfer steem token to another user below:

I login into my account using my username,active key and then open wallet page. Then i click on the down arrow beside steem balance then select transfer among other options.

After then input the username you want to make transfer to and also the amount of steem token.
Lastly i created a memo afterwards submitted and confirm with my active key.

Question 5 : How to power up your steem.

Answer :
How to powerup steem:
I logged in as usual then clicked on the same arrow then selected power up this time.

Afterwards i input the amount I want and then click on power up to confirm.
