WHAT IS PLAGIARISM ?

Plagiarism the the act of of using someone’s work to present as yours. Whether you where ordered by the owner of the work or not.

On this our noble platform when someone plagiarizes, it means the person copied the work from a certain place without sourcing it or directly copying it fro a fellow steemian. And when you are caught with this act, is either your account will be flagged or you will be sacked from the Steemit platform.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM?

Below are some types of plagiarism I will be emphasizing on :

SELF PLAGIARISM

Self plagiarism is a type of plagiarism which takes place when a steemian submit his work twice twice in different communities. Many of them do that when they get to know there is enough marks in a certain community, he or she wouldn’t want to do a new work so therefore will just copy and paste.

DIRECT PLAGIARISM

This is the severe one amongst them because in this type of plagiarism steemians copy word to word of other steemians and submit them as theirs.

ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM

This is the unfortunate type of all because a steemian can vividly do a work by himself or on his own but maybe someone else’s have the same sentence he or she has and in this case it is classified as plagiarism.

MOSAIC PLAGIARISM

With this type of plagiarism, a steemian can use an image or sentence which has been gotten someone without sourcing it.

WHAT ARE THE COURSES OF PLAGIARISM?

Laziness is one of the courses of plagiarism because mostly they can an assignment and one will be lazy, but immediately you have seen that a fellow steemian have done and gotten make you will also want to do but because of the laziness you just copy and paste the persons work.

Again, plagiarism happens when a steemian gets to know this colleague have gotten a lot of vote. He might think that when he uses his mind to do he wouldn’t get anything so he will just copy that persons work as his

PLAGIARISM AVOIDANCE

Reporting a person you know has copied your work to any of the professors.

Make sure you always add sources of where inmates and sentences are gotten from.

REMARKS

In this topic of plagiarism I have really learnt a lot and I will try my possible best to avoid it and also advise other steemians who don’t know much about this to end plagiarism.

I will say I have really gotten some knowledge about Steemit etiquette and I will make sure I put it into action.
