Achievement 3 Task: (Basic Etiquettes on Steem) by @stephen39

If you go to a house and you are not well orientated on the dos and don'ts , you are going to make a lot of mistakes. That's why I think this task is important.

Upon reading around some basic etiquettes in steem it has really enlighten me on the way one is supposed to post articles or pictures, videos, songs, etc.

At this stage of the task "Proof of Brain" is considered. What is "Proof of Brain" ?
From the information I have gathered from reading about achievement 3 task Proof of Brain is, ones ability to write or produce a quality content without copying from other sources. Again when a quality content is posted by your brain it may be voted to earn some currency.

As the quality content was produced from your Brain you need to recommend any of your content that consist of other peoples work. Tell us the source of your content.

Why As Steemit User Should Cite Our Sources.

Steemit is a family that celebrates original content hence if your post is a copied and pasted one it seizes to be original. For it to be original and acceptable in the steemit world you need to Cite A Source.

Steemit world wants to get rid of plagiarism. What is Plagiarism?
Is quoting or copying another person's work be it article, image or picture without making giving them the credit. Plagiarism fights one claiming another person's work.

How to Cite a Source
Citation,
When writing or stating a source it is not enough saying Facebook, Google or Yahoo, etc. You have to give out the specific link. No matter how many things you have quoted from different different sources you need to state their sources.

The cite provided when one wants to learn more about the information provided he or she can click on it to see everything he or she needs to know.

Provide cites for your images too. I mean add a link to copied picture or image.
