Greetings! Exceptional Steemians, I'm going to present my Achievement 3 Task, which is about Plagiarism.

PLAGIARISM DEFINITION

  • Direct Plagiarism
  • Self Plagiarism
  • Mosaic Plagiarism
  • Accidental Plagiarism
DIRECT PLAGIARISM: Direct plagiarism is when someone uses the exact identical word in their work without citing it.
SELF PLAGIARISM

When someone presents his previous work without his educators' knowledge, this is known as self-plagiarism.

MOSAIC PLAGIARISM

When someone receives information from a source, it is referred to as mosaic plagiarism. Without mentioning the source from which the data was obtained.

ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM

When someone fails to quote or cite the source from which the data was obtained or mistakenly misrepresents the source in his work, this is known as accidental plagiarism.

IMPLICATIONS OF PLAGIARISM

  • AUTHORS ARE AFFECTED BY PLAGIARISM
    This is a circumstance in which someone claims another person's concept or knowledge, and the original creator is completely removed from the product. This is quite distressing.

  • PLAGIARISTS SWINDLE READERS
    Plagiarism has an impact on the transmission of information. Plagiarism breaks the link to previous knowledge by rejecting the source of the information and leaving the reader with insufficient information.

  • PLAGIARISM VIOLATES THE RIGHTS OF AUTHORS
    When an original creator's unique idea or material is taken away from him, he can no longer refer to his work in the future.

  • PLAGIARISM DEFRAUDS THE SYSTEM #####

  • Make Quotation a Part of Your Strategy
  • Explain your work
  • Present your own ideas
  • Citations should be used.
  • Use a plagiarism detector.
  • Defaulters should face severe consequences.
