Guidelines to succeed on steemit
Patience
Patience is the key to every Steemians no Steemians made it in just a day without out investigation very large income. For any steemian with a 15 delegate to grow his steem power he or she must be patient, consistent and hardworking
Do not post and leave
Steemit as a platform won't go to greater heights if we all just post and leave without commenting and upvoting other great authors.
Even the Bible says:
"give and it shall be given unto you".
So I want to let you know that to succeed you must help others succeed, after making a post, check out other quality post, comment and vote other people post.
Do not post nudes (videos or images) without NSFW tag
As an adult you may like posting naked pictures of males and females but if i may remind you the are some kids on steemit who are still to young for such post. Nude will corrupts a child mentality and emotionally, which might destroy the child future.
Avoid plagiarism

Plagiarism is an act of crime done to author of articles. Plagiarism would only make a writer lazy and dis honest, because the writter claims to be the author, by receiving honor and payments which don't belong him or her
Do not directly ask for votes
Telling to vote your post is okay, only in a post promotion contest or community and it would be done indirectly by posting a link to your article. Otherwise don't ask people to vote your post because it annoys a lot of people. If we all ask for votes steemit would be a partial platform defeating the main aim it was developed
Do not bribe anyone to vote re-steems follow or ask directly for money
Bribery is a big crime in the world, because bribe destroy any community. If people are bribed to upvote an author post then the quality post would not be voted and great authors won't be assisted or encouraged. This would spoil the image of steemit and defeat the major aim it was discovered.
Do not ever use @all tag
This is a tag that tags or mention every account
on steemit platform at once, which could be offensive to many people, resulting to lose of friends and followers.
Do not spread fake news
Fake news is very wrong to mankind, fake news have killed lots of people physically, mentality and emotionally. Anyone who spread fake news is not a friend humanity.
Do not flag content just because you don't like it
Some people just keep grudges and malice against another author for their selfish reason
Probably the have been offended knowing and unknowingly, so the flag their so called enemies even when the post are quality posts.
Do not be a stalker.
Some males on steem just move around searching for females and some females just scroll around for males, this is called stalking, this act is disturbing and annoying to many people. This act won't help you in steemit it will only damage your reputation on steemit
Do admit when you are wrong
A signed of a wise or educated person is the ability to admit or accept that you have done wrong and apologizing for the wrong you have done with starting a fight or an argument. But an ignorant, uncivilized and uneducated personal would also want to prove the are always right and the would fight if the are told to apologize. On steemit this attitude would only scare away friends, support, followers and helpers who use to support you and assist you.
If you apologize for your mistakes, you would be rewarded and respected.
Do answer your comments
The act of not responding or replying
to comments is a sign or act of been ungrateful. Ignoring people comment hurts people a lot, especially me if i ask a question or i talk to a person and the person ignores my chart i get sad because it hurts a lot.
Do resteem quality posts.
Resteeming or sharing quality post is a very healthy and nice act, because you are helping the author increase viewers on his or her post and you might help some one find an information he or she has been looking for
Read rules before partaking in contest
It is best authors read and make sure the qualify for a contest and assignment before partaking in any assignments and contests to avoid wasting time and resources
Don't be in hurry to power down
Powering down is not advised expectially for newbie on the platform because it would be difficult for the user to grow his or her account
