ACHIEVEMENT 2: @soty2003 UNDERSTANDING THE BASIC SECURITY OF STEEM

Hello Steemians

I am delighted to write my achievement 2 task, but i want to appreciate stemians and the organisers of this great platform.

My Achievement 2 task is about "Basic Security On Steem".

Steemit provides lots of keys and passwords formed by alphabets upper and lower case, this passwords are our personals and it is known that if we loose this passwords and keys , we'll loose our account.

HAVE YOU RETRIEVED ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?

Yes i have because it is very vital.

WHAT ARE THE FUNCTIONS OF THIS KEYS?

The master key: it is the first level key of my account and it gives full access to any other password or key.

The posting key: this key is mainly for posting and voting.

The active key: it is used to transfer steem from one user to another in form of a transaction .

HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR MASTER KEY SAFE?

It is required to keep it safe , i jot it down and also saved it to my email.

HOW TO TRANSFER STEEM TO ANOTHER USER

Click on wallet , click on reverse triangle on steem then a menu will pop up , requiring receiver, amount,username and menu.

So far I've tried to understand this , all thanks to steem.
