Task 1

Hello fellow steemians, understanding the Steem world was very hard, but I was able to navigate through it thanks to the help of a friend.

Reviewing the Steem world

Logging into the Steem world was pretty easy, all I had to do was to put in my user name and private posting key. Looking at the front web page I could see the various Steem Blockchain tools, I also noticed that the creator of the Steem world is @steemchiller.

Checking Rewards

After I logged in I clicked on the dashboard. While scrolling through the dash board I saw the Reward summary which displays all your rewards since the last 30 days. Also the reward summary has sub sections which include the Curation SP, Author SP, Steem, SBD and your total in USD.

DELEGATION

Delegation is the transfer of Steem power from one user to the other, which can be used to carry out various Steem activities.

Types of delegation

1. Incoming Delegation;

This is when Steem power has been transfer or shared to you by another user.

2. Outgoing Delegation

This is when you transfer your Steem power to another user.

How to Delegate Steem power (sp) to another user

When you click on your dashboard and go to the section of your user name, you will see the delegation box, when you click on it shows you the sub sections which include the incoming and outgoing delegation and also the Delegation area. When you click on it pops up a separate box where you can fill in the necessary or required information of who you are delegating to and amount.

How to check outgoing and incoming votes

when you click on the stats bar under your user name you would see detailed information regarding how many votes you have or have given out within the last 7 day, currently I have only received 1 within the last 7 days and I have not given out any. Also you would see the Inc..votes and out..votes clicking on them would give you a detailed chart view of your votes.

Account Operations and how to check it for the last 7 days

The Account gives you a detailed day to day activities of your activities on steemit. To check you previous activities for the past 7 days, click on the dates which exactly states the past 7 days and you will see all your previous activities both outgoing and incoming.

Coming Rewards

1.Author Rewards;

Sharing a write up on steemit makes you an Author, therefore author rewards are what you get for posting a write up, or comment.

2. Curation Rewards;

Curation rewards are what you get for giving another Author's write up or comment an up vote.

3. Beneficiary Rewards;

This reward is what you receive when another user decides to reward you based on the reward the user gets from making a particular post.

Checking up vote value at different voting weights

When I clicked the dashboard the first picture I could not help but notice was a 100% percent in a circle and under it was a bar with vote amounts in percent. This is what actually shows you the value of votes which ranges from 1%-100%.
