Greetings everyone it's been quite interesting having gone through the achievement 2 article, which basically is all about the various uses of all the keys on steemit platforms and also how to safeguard them. There are five basic keys on steemit and each key has its identical function(s).They include:

• the posting key
• the active key
• the owner key
• the memo key
• the master password

Lets discuss their individual uses of these keys ;

The posting key which happened to be the commonly used key is used for logging into your account . it is also used for commenting, editing of comment, voting of post, resteeming of posts, muting of other accounts.

The active key is used during activities that concerns the wallet .It is used for transfering funds(steem,SBD) from one account to another.It is used for power up/down of steem ,voting of witnesses, conversion of steem to steem dollar, and editing of profile details and image.

The memo key is used to encrypt and decrypt memo during transfer of funds .This can be achieved when you put a pound or # sign before the memo.

The owner key is used for recovering a compromised account .It is also used to effect changes on other keys .it is important to place priority on this key.

This is the key you get immediately you sign up .It is used to generate all other keys on steemit including the owner keys.
It is very important that you understand the uses of all this keys because the play a huge role in all your activities in steemit.
Also knowing how important these keys are ,i have decided to have an offline storage of them in my external flash drive and also wrote them down somewhere safe.
Now i can also do some funds transfer and power ups.

Having gone through the achievement 2 article I can affirm that

• I have retrieved all my keys on steemit
• I know the uses of these keys
• I have also stored them safely offline in a safe place. I had them stored in my hard drive and also written down somewhere safe.
• I can also do funds transfer from my account to another, also I can perform some power up ;all of these I've demonstrated above in the screen shots.
