What is plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of priding in another person's work and claiming it as though it is your work thereby taking the accolades of another man without making reference to the original author, we can also call the offender a content thief

Types of plagiarism

1. self plagiarism: funny as it may be, it is possible for one to plagiarize his or her self. Shocked right? It can be committed When he mixes part of his old works previously submitted to a professor or a superior to his new work without permission from the professor or Superior involved
2. Direct plagiarism: this stands out for all the copy-cats that can't even attempt to change a word thereby copying word for word without crediting the originator
3. Accidental plagiarism: this one is done mistakenly as the name implies, when the person forgets to cite their sources

N/B: while we are still fighting the plagiarism of text and content stealing, technology and government policies are evolving and if we do not learn the habit of being original, we may soon be doomed

Citation:
Citation in a lay man language can be called the opposite of plagiarism where you make reference to the original author and creator of a content regardless the source
