Good day everyone, hope we all doing well

It’s been a great journey full of adventures and new things to learn every time and so far its moving fine and I hope my fellow beginners and also senior steemians are doing great here as I am doing…

Already completed Achievement 3 and I am proceeding to continue with Achievement 4 here… Let’s stay tune and enjoy this post…. Thank you!!!

“Markdowns are plain text formatting syntax aimed at making writing for the internet easier. The philosophy behind Markdown is that plain text documents should be readable without tags mussing everything up, but there should still be ways to add text modifiers like lists, bold, italics, etc. It is an alternative to WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editors, which use rich text that later gets converted to proper HTML.
It’s possible you’ve encountered Markdown without realizing it. Facebook chat, Skype, and Reddit all let you use different flavors of Markdown to format your messages.
Here’s a quick example: to make words bold using Markdown, you simply enclose them in * (asterisks). So, bold word would look like bold word when everything is said and done.
All told, Markdown is a great way to write for the web using plain text”. source

Below are contents created and has the various markdowns applied in them.

Applying Headlines

# Steemit is an awesome platform 1
## Steemit is an awesome platform 2
### Steemit is an awesome platform 3
#### Steemit is an awesome platform 4
##### Steemit is an awesome platform 5
###### Steemit is an awesome platform 6

This would appear as;

Steemit is an awesome platform 1

Steemit is an awesome platform 2

Steemit is an awesome platform 3

Steemit is an awesome platform 4

Steemit is an awesome platform 5

Steemit is an awesome platform 6

From here, we can see that, as the hashtag symbol increases, the headline “Steemit is an awesome platform” decreases in size.

Applying Subscript

 NaHCO3  . This would appear as NaHCO3

Applying Superscript

 NaHCO3  . This would appear as NaHCO3

Applying Links

Adding links to our post is a one sure thing that we all do in our post. Below is how we can do that.
Anytime we want to add a steemit user name, we start the name with the @ symbol and the username becomes clickable where it can be clicked to open the user’s profile. E.g.: @sammiekhay is my user name and when it is clicked on, it would take you straight into my steemit page.
Also we can hide a link in a word or phrase.
[A link to my profile] (https://steemit.com/@sammiekhay)
So this shows up to be;
>>

A link to my profile

Applying tables

Samuel | Samuella
--------- | ----------
A boy | A girl

Grows to be man | Grows to be a woman

SamuelSamuella
A boy A girl
Grows to be a manGrows to be a woman

Applying Codes

**I love Steemit** >> I love Steemit

Applying Block quotes

> “You do not find the happy life. YOU MAKE IT.”
― Camilla Eyring Kimball

It would appear as;

“You do not find the happy life. YOU MAKE IT.”
― Camilla Eyring Kimball
