95% of the time, India would prevail in this match
In front of 130,000 spectators, India will play five-time champion Australia in the World Cup final today in an attempt to snap a ten-year worldwide title drought.
India is looking for a third World Cup victory to go with their two previous ones from 1983 and 2011, the last of which occurred on home soil. They have won the competition ten times in a row.
The former England fast bowler Stuart Broad predicted that India would defeat Australia 95 times out of 100 in the World Cup final.

In front of 130,000 spectators, India will play five-time champion Australia in the World Cup final today in an attempt to snap a ten-year worldwide title drought.
Broad remarked in his Daily Mail column, "India are so powerful in their own conditions that I would say they would win this final 95 times out of 100."
To determine their strength, all you have to do is glance along their lineup: their top six players are capable of scoring hundreds that can win a game, and any one of their bowlers may claim a five-for. You can say that about only one World Cup squad, and that's them," he remarked.
"India's victory in the World Cup is comparable to Brazil's victory in the equivalent of football. It has a hint of enchantment about it.
In my opinion, India's victory against Australia in Ahmedabad would be fantastic for the game since it will serve as an inspiration for the upcoming generation of cricket stars, much like their victory in 2011.
"An Indian triumph is the sport's most marketable result; it's similar to the days when Usain Bolt qualified for the 100 meters. "Everybody involved in athletics wanted him to win because it would increase sponsorship, TV rights, and public awareness of the sport," stated Broad.
