Have U retrieve all your keys on steemit?

If I have! I got all my keys on Steam the first day I signed up on this great platform, they were given to me as a PDF file that I downloaded and stored on my device.

Do you know each of these keys function Name and restrictions?

Yes! Keys are very important for every member of this platform for effective navigation through this platform and for carrying out our transactions with ease. Below are the key functions and limitations;

Active key
Owner key
Memo key
Master key

Posting key

The post key is the key that you give the user to their Steem account so that they can post, comment, resteem and other necessary things required. To prevent post locks from being compromised, their use should be limited.

Active key

An active lock can be termed as a lock used for transactions like transferring steem, turning it on, turning it off, changing steem dollars and placing market orders. It is also used to select witnesses and update profile details.

Owner key

An owner key is a key that is used to recover a compromised account, not a key that is used frequently.

Memo key

This key is used to encrypt (i.e. hide something using a code) and decrypt (i.e. open what is sealed) records when funds are transferred.

Master key

The master key is the most powerful key, it can be used to recover all other keys including the owner key.

How do u plan keep to your Master password?

Since this key is very important and there is no way to recover it after losing it, I will keep it in my Gmail account and also print a hard copy which will be kept in my file.
