Hello fellow Steemians:
Hope everyone doing good. I’m back here to continue my achievement 3 as I am done with my achievement 1 and 2 as I find it the need to continue with the rest of the achievement so I could understand how steemit work.

So, let's start with achievement 3 task.

What is Plagiarism ?

Plagiarism is the practice of copying, using, or taking someone’s work as yours without mentioning, citing, or giving credit to the owner.

Plagiarism is also the use of another mans ideas, thought, language or expressions as ones own original work.

How to avoid plagiarism?
Most people do commit plagiarism knowingly and others unknowingly. As they say there is no ignorance in the court of law. So whether it’s international or not, you will need to face the law. And in this platform plagiarism is not accepted and will get your accounted muted and terminated if you get noticed.

Tips to avoid plagiarism in your content

• It’s always good to write in your own words when you get ideas from other people
• If it is necessary to copy other authors work or content you will need to give credit to the original owner in quotation
• You still need to give credit to the original owner even if you make slight changes to the content
• Any ideas or information used to do whatever will still need you to give credit to the owner. Doesn’t really matter if it’s direct or indirect
• It’s also important to include ideas in your documents to avoid plagiarism. This makes your article stands out and attractive.
