Hello everyone this is Riya from India and after completing my ACHIEVEMENT 1 and get verified successfully i am so glad that i am now heading towards ACHIEVEMENT 2 . Thankyou so much to all the members that have accepted me on Steemit platform.

So let's start with Achievement 2

What is Security?

Security of a thing is to keep a thing safely and protect it from others without letting other people know about it. So basically security of passwords are to keep it safely offline so that we do not lose it.

Basic Security can be defined as keeping things in a protected way and a safer side so that in future we could easily get it whenever we need it.

Have you Retrieved all your keys after signing up and completing all the process required to make Steemit account.

Does functions of all the keys are known to me?

Yes i went through the keys and it's instructions and stored knowledge about all the keys of Steemit

Starting of with the use of POSTING KEY

Posting key is used for logging in to our account of Steemit for posting contents , voting , commenting , editing a post , resteeming a post and deleting and down voting if required .So for all this purpose we need posting key

USE OF MASTER KEY

Master key is one of the most powerful keys as it's used to generate other keys or recovery of passwords.
One can't afford to loose this key as it is one of the most important key as if we loose it we won't be able to recover it again . And if any person by chance gets your master key He / She can easily take away all your steems .
So it's our duty to key the master password very safely Nd securely.

USE OF ACTIVE KEY

The another most important key of Steemit is Active Key because all the actions related to cashing out your Steem is performed by the active key.

Converted SBD to Steem with the help of active key

This Key performs the function of :
*Transferring of funds to other accounts
*To convert Steem dollars to Steem power
*For placing order to convert Steem dollars to Steem
*For Powering up or down of the steem

USE OF OWNER KEY

With the help of Owner key we can change any keys of our account and basically at the times where we have a threat of our account getting hacked or stolen we can use this key to change all other keys and also this key should be stored offline securely.

Use of MEMO KEY

The use of this key is to see encrypted messages and we also send an encrypted message through memo key . So yes it is another important key of Steemit.

Do you know how to transfer your Steem to another Steem account?

Yes for transferring Steem to another Steem account we need to login to our Steemit wallet with the help of active key and then we we get an option of transfer on the wallet page . So all we need to do is select the account user name we want to transfer using @ before the name and then transfer it.

Do You Know How to power up your Steem

Yes by going to our wallet and selecting the option of Steem there you will get the option of power up , transfer , market and there you have to select power up as shown below
