I’m glad to continue on my achievement posts as they help me to understand the complete details about steemit decentralize applications.

However, in this Achievment 5.2 task, I will explore/review the steemscan.com, a steemit blockchain site that was programmed by @futureshock.

The steemscan.com comprises of so many features as seen in the homepage.
Which are;

• The two graph shows the latest volume and price (in Usd) of steem coin while the list of latest transactions and blocks are shown shown below.

• The top bar from right contains features such as; change of languages, display mode I.e day/night mode, the bar change removes hide the volume and price in the homepage, Steem/USD converting value, Search button and Menu.

The Menu bar which is at top left consist of;

• Home
• Witnesses
• DApps
• Dev Tools
• Quick Convert
• Search and Search Engine

Question 1: Explain the current Steem price and volumes on date of submission of this review?

Aforesaid, this two graphs display the current Price and Volume respectively.
Shown on the left is the price graph which shows which we can see that the current price of a Steem coin is equivalent to $0.43 and the volume graph i is on the right. This graph shows the latest trading volume of steem coin which is $6,697.54 on today been 4th April, 2022.

Question 2: Explain What all information is shown under latest transactions and latest blocks section?

Lastest Transaction and Latest Block
The default is Latest Transaction. If a viewer can change to Latest Block by clicking on it.
Every latest transaction initiated contains the following; Block ID, ID, Timestamp, Sender, Receiver/permlink/Id, Type, Amount/%/payload

In order to see complete details of any transaction sender or receiver, click on the transaction.

Exploring the Menu

Question 3: Explain What all information is shown under Witnesses section and steps to vote a Witness?
Witnesses
In this interface, viewer can see the top ranking witness and their details such as price, version, Reg fee etc.
Right now, @steemchiller is witness number one in ranking, having 176,469 Approval (MV) etc.

A witness is a steemit user that assist in operating the steemit blockchain effectively.

In order to vote for a witness, use the following steps;
click on Vote at left.
Click on Confirm
Input username and posting key then click Get started.
Click Approve
Receipt for successful witnessing is shown

Question 4: Explain What is DApps and mention 3 DApps which you have already used or may use in future as per your interest?

DApp
The full meaning is Decentralize Applications. DApps can be define as an application that operates on multiple nodes rather than a single. This menus feature shows other DApps that operates on the steemit blockchain.
The screenshot below shows that most of them are not yet released.

The three DApps that I’ve use are;

• Steemworld
• WhereIn
• Dtube
  DApps that I will like to use future are;
• SteemCoinPan
• Teelkee

Question 5: Explain How to use "Quick Convert" and what is the fee charged for different Steem amount for withdrawal?

This interface is use to convert steem to USDT, BTC and TRX by inputing the amount of steems and a transaction fee (gas fee) will be shown under the value price. In order to convert, input number of steem and click create order.
Example: Converting 20 steems into USDT will give 6.02852338USDT and will attract a fee of 1.08192371USDT. BTC and TRX conversions can be seen in the picture below.

Question 6: Explain what information is provided by the "Search" feature?

This menu option allows a viewer to search for a particular blockchain by filing the box and click search.

After inputting the details, viewer can see the block, transactions, steem power, available steem block dollars of a user.


Steem Engine
This option give opportunity to start a journey of creating a token or dApp on the steem blockchain using it smart contract.
