Hi guys! Yesterday I was able to introduce myself to steemit. But when I was making my steemit account I realised there are some security levels in the steemit. Today I am going to post about basic security features in steemit. 😋🔑

Firstly I learned that I have to keep my master password protected. Seriously guys keep it safe. 📲🗝️

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes I most certainly did. I got all my keys on steemit. I went to my wallet and got my keys from keys and permissions.😊

Do you know each of these keys and restrictions?

Yeah to some extent. Basically there are keys as Posting key, active key, owner key, and memo key.
Posting key is using to publish a post, edit a post, comment on a post, follow people and mute others. But most importantly this is use to log in to the our steemit account.
Active key is using to transfer tokens, to create new user, and for profile changes.
Next key is owner key. This the of most important keys in steemit. If you lost your account, this is the key that can recover your account. It can also rest your account. So keep it very safe. It is better if you can store it offline.
The next key is memo key. This key is important when you are encrypting and decrypting messages coming through blockchain.

How do you plan to keep your master key?

I am keeping it my phone and I also wrote it down.

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

I know I need active key to transfer my steem token to another steem user account. But I have not tried it yet.

Do you know how to power up your steem?

I know I need active key for this also. But I haven't tried it yet.
