Hello guys,i hope you guys are on the top of the world and enjoying you life with favorites. Today i am sharing with you guys my achievement 2 post about basic security on steemit. In this achievement basically know about. How to use our keys.

SO let me know answer the question which is asked in the Achievement.

Question 1:

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Answer:

Yes,I have retrieved all my keys which i have stored in the form of PDF.

Question 2:

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Answer:

Yes, i know each one of keys restrictions and functions. I will define all of keys functions.

Posting key:

Posting key is used for logging in to your steemit account in other to perform social activities like up voting, commenting and resteeming other steemit posts and posting key also provide security features that provides user with control over their account and content.

Active key:

active key is used for making few transactions in steemit, it can be used whenever we want to transfer steem to another user's account or while powering up. Through active key we have an access to converting steem into dollars, and we can vote through active key on people,s posts. and through active key we have an access to upgrade your profile as your profile picture or avatar and lacing market in order.

Owner key:

Owner key is used to retrieve your other keys in case you can't find them, it is very important to key this key save in your phone or better still make it an hardware copy.It can be used to change the other keys associated with the account, such as the active key, posting key, and memo key, as well as to reset the account's password.It is important to keep the owner key secure and protected as it grants complete control over the account, including the ability to transfer funds, update account information, and even delete the account. And owner key have to be sorted somewhere safe or offline.

Memo key:

The memo key is used to encrypt and decry pt memos/messages, allowing users to send private messages to a person without allowing other see it. To encrypt a memo, the pounds/# sign should be added before message.It is important for users to keep their memo key secure and not share it with others, as it is the key that is used to encrypt and decry pt all of their private messages. In order to encrypt the the memo you have to use the pound sign /# before you use it.

Question 3:

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer:

I save all my keys in the form of print hard form and are in google drive and stored in SSD and are also in the form of USB.

Question 4:

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer:

Yes,I know 1st you need to open your steem wallet and then

after then you need to click on drop-down button there you will see the transfer fund option

after that write the user name where you want to transfer fund and also write the amount of fund which you want to transfer

and then click on next apply your active key and your fund will transfer successfully.

Question 5:

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Answer:

Yes,i know how to power up. let me show step by step 1st you need to open your steem wallet then. click on drop done button there you will see the power up option.

then we click on power up button write the amount you want to power up and apply your active key.
