Achievement 2 @pushpika- Basic Security on Steem

Hello everybody... You all are greeting to my blog.
It's time to discuss about the security of Steemit.

I am spending my 2nd week in the Steemit. I have researched about the security of Steemit during past weeks and I would love to share these things with you in preliminary level.

Once I created the account, I got an email which consist of number of keys inside it. I had no idea of what to do but I smelled that it should be important and be secured.

Since this Steemit platform is base on blockchain of cryptocurrency, a high class privacy is needed to be maintained. So I kept these keys aside as a hardcopy and searched what they are for.

No.	Key	Description
1	Private Posting Key	Use to login to the app, posting, voting, resteem. We usually use this key for day to day activities such as primary tasks.
2	Private Memo Key	This is used to encrypt and decrypt private transfer memos.
3	Private active Key	This is used for financial related tasks such as monetary and wallet related actions. Also if you want to transfer tokens or power up/down STEEM, then you may use this key.
4	Private owner key	This key is at high level of its importance because it will be used to reset all other keys. It will be really dangerous if this key is got by someone else. If your account is compromised, this key can be used to recover it.
5	Master Password	Most important key ever !!! This is the master. It is used to generate other keys.

Did you ever think of what happens if your master key is got by someone else? In a nutshell, he will be the owner of the account making you a spectator. How terrible it is.....
It's like getting your wife raped in front of you. Therefore;
SAVE THE KEY AS YOU SAVE YOUR WIFE....

Actually, security of Master key is really important as I mentioned above. In my scenario, I deleted all the digitally generated links to my key and write it down in a piece of paper instead of it. I know there are enough secured personal digital lockers in the air but that was my choice.

Then let's see how do we transfer the steem token to another steem user?

1. Go to Wallet
2. Select what is to be transferred and click on the drop down
3. Select Transfer
   
4. Fill the details and click Next
