Achievement 2 task by @promisechigo | Basic security on steem blockchain

Hello steemians welcome to my post once again. Today i will be writing in response to the achivement 2 task: Basic security on steem.

Lets talk about it here. First, let me thank the initiative behind this community being @cryptokannon, i so much appreciate your effort on steemit.

Basically, there are 4 known keys that are being used on this blockchain excluding the Master key and i have studied and have also gotten the basic knowledge of how to use them. They are:

• Posting key
• Active Key
• Owner Key and
• Memo Key

The above keys have their specific task on the steem blockchain. You are advised to keep them self as any loss of anyone can incur a great loss to your tokens.

I have read all the informations concerning this keys and here i will be answering the question below:

Question 1

• Have You Retrieve All Your Keys On Steemit?

Yes! All my keys are intact with me and i have been using them accurately.

Question 2

• Do You Know Each Of The Key Functions And Restrictions?

Yes!

Posting Key:

This type of key is used publish, upvote and resteem other steemians content. It can also be used for commenting. Note: you cannot use this for monetary transaction.

Active key:

This type of key is majorly used for money transaction, you can use it to also transfer tokens to other account.

Owner Key:

This is another important key, it is mainly used for changing other keys, it can also be used for recovering your accounts. It is the most important key and is advised to store offline.

Memo Key:

This key, for now is less important as it is only used for encrypting and decrypting private messages within the blockchain.

This all i can talk about concerning the functions and Restrictions of keys.

• How Do You Plan To Keep Your Master Password?

Um, my master currently has been stored offline and i think thats the best way to store keys loke that.

Question 4

• Do You Know How To Transfer Your Steem Token To Another Steem User?

Yes! I can transfer my tokens to another user. See the method i used below.

I visited my steemit wallet, there i clicked on the drop down menu where i clicked on transfer like this:

On the above image i inputted the amount of steem to be transfered after then i clicked on and transfer and finalized it with my active key.

Do You Know How To Power Up Your Steem?

Yes!

I can do just that, see the method i used below.

To power up my steem, i logged into my wallet and click on the drop down menu where i then clicked at power up and the below page showed up.

After then i clicked on power up and finalized it with my active key. Thats how to power up steem so easy!
