Hi everyone on steemit, how are we all doing today, trust we are good and having a blissful day.
I'm #promis-levi and I'm here for my #achievement2# task.

I feel so glad when I found out that my #Achievement1 task was verified and I should proceed to #achievement2 task. Please stay with me as I attempt to answer the following questions.

STEEMIT PRIVATE KEYS

Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?.

Yes I have retrieved all my keys on steemit. I downloaded them and saved them in a safe place for easy access on my Google drive.

Question 2: do you know all of the key functions and restrictions.

Yes I do, and I will try to explain them below, in the best way I can.

POSTING KEY
This key is used by users to post, edit and also comment on posts. It also enables the function to mute or follow other accounts. So many users on steemit log in with the posting key and that can compromise one's key when it is frequently used. The posting key helps minimize the compromise of one's key.

ACTIVE KEYS

The active key is a very important key, which is used to perform some activities like power up and down transactions, voting for witnesses, converting steem dollars, updating profile details and avatar and also placing matter demand.

OWNER KEY

This is an essential key, and as such, it is used only when the need arises. It is considered to be the strongest and most powerful key due to its ability to change any key of an account including itself. This key can also be used to retrieve a compromised account within the space of 30days. It is a very vital and crucial key and as such it should be kept safe.

MEMO KEYS
This key is used by users for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring.

Question 3: how do you plan on keeping your master password?.

My master password is the most important and greatest of all keys. It functions to generate all the keys including the owner key. It is warned not to expose the master password to avoid an account to be compromised.
It is not to be exposed but save in a safe place for easy assess and remembrance both online and offline because, if your master password is misplaced, it will be impossible to retrieve your account back. It is highly recommended to store and protect the master password.

Question 4: do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user.

Yes I know how to transfer steem token.
Firstly, go to your steem wallet, click on steem and select transfer. It will take you to transfer to account, where you will be provided with two 3 boxes.

Step 1 - a box showing where the steem is to be transferred from, which is your account.

Step 2 - a box indicating where you want to transfer the steem to, after which, you will have to impute the amount of steem you want to transfer.

Question 5: do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Yes I do. You power up by :
Go to your steem balance, click on steem and select transfer again, then you need to convert your steem from your account to steem power.

After converting your steem to steem power, click on power up as indicated on your wallet surrounding the power up button and there u go, all set to power up.
